Munay Kitchen Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken & Grill

This was a nice Mexican restaurant. Little or no service was provided as you need to order from the counter. It was a food adventure for me as I've never tried the cow heart before. I believe the restaurant used to serve cow tripe, stomach, intestine and heart, but currently, they only serve cow tripe and heart. All the food were very tasty and well seasoned, and the chicken was also very tender. The cashier didn't speak English very well and I had to show her photos of what I wanted.

Juicy and flavorful pollo a la brasa! Counter has a small selection of Peruvian staples too so I was able to stock up on aji paste

Hot take: Peruvian chicken is by far the best version of chicken. Imagine a Costco rotisserie chicken but with an attitude and personality and that's a Peruian rotisserie chicken. Out of all the joints in DFW, Munay by far makes the best version. You can taste the seasoning with every bite, even down to the deepest sections of the breast. The Aji sauce is addicting and offers a nice spicy quick to the chicken. The Chaufa de Pollo hit the spot just right. Hot on arrival and packed with flavor. Tasted like it was cooked in a wok. 10/10 recommend.

I really liked the portions for the price! I highly recommend the pollo, papas fritas, and ensalada! Also the chicha morada

The chicken here had good flavor and was very moist. It wasn't the best chicken I had, but very good for the price. Also got to try the beef hearts which were tender and had lots of flavor with all the different spices. Our order also came with fries and a salad. The fries were soggy and the salad was ok.

Self serve but okay the food is very fast. The pollo la brasa is amazing!! Large portions first time here and coming back. The waitress super friendly and d helpful. The place is small but clean.

The soda is $5 per can kind of ridiculous for a sprite. The limo was great but not the ceviche

This place has the best rotisserie chicken in the DFW area. We met the sweetest lady who happened to be the owner last weekend and discovered that there is a Richardson location as well.

Food is good but the customer service sucks. I don't know if this guy is always working the front but that attitude is not giving. seem like he don't want to work or greet the customers. People like that make me not want to support their small business. I would suggest someone more friendly with better attitude.La comida está buena. pero el personal que tienen enfrente nomás no. No sé si esa persona siempre esta enfrente pero como que necesita que ser un poco más amable con un poco más de sonrisa para atraer más clientes. Gente así ni ganas de ir a soportar un negocio. So por favor pongan a alguien que sea más amigable más agradable qué te haga sentir que vale la pena comer ahí.
