One of my favorite restaurants in Dallas.... Been here for over 10 years that I remember. Never had a bad meal here. Service is always friendly. Decor is what you would expect from an Indian restaurant that's a mom and pop.

Update:I stand behind the lunch recommendation but I can't brag on the dinner. Service was impeccable but the A-game chef doesn't work nights. The beef shahi korma was tough and lacked the creaminess I look for in a korma. The chicken tikka masala was just poorly seasoned. The rice was delicious, the keema naan great, and the papad had that delightful crispiness. My husband scarfed down the gulab jamun. I tried the cheese in cream, you should too.

The food was pretty good but fairly salty. The waiters were polite and and the restaurant was really maintained nicely. Our waiter made sure we were okay. However, we asked for something and did not know that it would be an extra charge of $5. Overall, a decent first indian restaurant experience.

This is our go to Uber Eats restaurant for Indian food!We always order the Chicken Tiki Masala, Veggie Samosas, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Regular Naan, and Mumatz Mixed Grill.We always share the mixed grilled meats and there's barely enough for us (I think some places it says that it should feed two people and with both of us ordering other entrees it's barely enough to share).The food is so flavorful and tasty! The samosas are flaky and filled to the max (some of the websites pictures make them look small, but they're huge). I loveeee the Saag Paneer...sometimes I think about venturing out and trying a different dish, but it's just so good and with the order of the mixed grill I still get a nice dose of protein. Occasionally, when the Naan arrives there are some hard crusty parts, so when I remember I order the onion kulcha! That stays moist and fluffy! I forgot to snap pictures before we started eating, but I'll remember next time!

For only $12.95 for the lunch buffet, you can't find another place like this!If you're branching out like me and don't want to drop $15 for a dish, then the lunch buffet is perfect! It has all the popular Indian dishes, from samosas, naan, to tikka masala, paneer, rice, and some desserts. They have vegetarian options as well like egg rolls, salad, and some curries.The place was packed during lunch on a weekday, but I'm not surprised because it's honestly such a good price. I tried all their different curries, along with their naan and rice, and it was filling. They didn't have any drinks available with the buffet, but there were two different desserts. There was some rice pudding and some fried puff in sugar water. The curries were good, and dipping them with some naan makes it a happy meal. I ate two full plates and was stuffed!I do wish they have more options, but with how expensive groceries are now, you can't blame them. It's still a great option to pick if you're hungry and in the area!

I visited this place after meeting their chef a few times at the temple, I absolutely enjoyed the food that she makes there , i think she is doing a fantastic job . Keep it up , i will be comming again with my friends and family to try a couple of things that we could not eat as we were so full :)

This is the second time I've eaten raw chicken from this restaurant. The first time I was pregnant and let it go and just hoped I wouldn't get ill. Hoping I'm ok. Please make sure your meat is fully cooked. It's hard to tell with sauce and spices on it.
