I had the pastor burrito. A little cheaper than other local taquerias. Size was smaller. Meat was so so, not as spiced as others. Mostly bean flavor and verde salsa was very mild. They added fresh onions which was nice. Overall maybe 6.5/10. Would come back to try the tacos.I am trying all local shops to see who's al pastor burrito reins Supreme! I have a sickness and the only medicine is giant pastor burritos!So far:1# El Volcan2# El Rombero (close second)3# El Grande4# Mr. Takito.

It's ok. Go with low expectations though. I've tried tortas, rolled tacos, regular street tacos. Tortas aren't very filling, they skim on the meat and toppings but it's a decent torta, rolled tacos are just meh and the street tacos are under seasoned but if you put enough salsa, it makes them somewhat edible LOL

Pretty good place for the price meat is a bit dry but still pretty good w salsa. Also they are taking precautions with covid which is great!

One of the best gas station foods i've eaten out here in Dallas. Very good beef and pork. Definitely coming back soon.

The service is friendly, the tacos are good, and my kids have a good time when we come here. Yuou put yummy food in front of me, there's nothing that can go wrong. At the end of the day, it is what it is, it's a street taco place at a gas station. But I always enjoy the food here and the family and I always leave feeling satisfied.

I went here for the first time today. The tacos were on the small size and tasted okay, but there was so much fat in the barbacoa that I wound up spitting out 1/2 of the tacos. There was so much fat that it was inedible. the pieces of fat in the meat were so large and visible that I wondered why the person making it wouldn't have taken that part out. I will not be returning. The picture is just 1 if the SEVERAL large pieces of fat that were in my tiny street tacos.

Great authentic place to grab a bite! It's very small but very clean and cozy. It's a small family business where everyone is involved. The menu is simple but packs a big punch. I recommend the chicharron with the cactus, of course, rice and beans....oh and you can wash it all down with a Mexican Coca Cola.

This place is awesome and clean. Coming from California, I needed to find an authentic Mexican restaurant, and this is it! Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

I went here on a whim while running errands on a Saturday. After closing for some time due to COVID-19, it was nice to see they are open again. No dine-in, plus everyone who comes in needs to wear a mask for the safety of the customers and employees.I ordered the three taco plate, which came with rice and beans for only $6.99. The meat options are limited, with meats such as carne, pollo, pastor, chorizo and chicharon. For my plate, I stuck with 2 carne and 1 pastor, and double rice (I don't care for beans much). Everything was delicious, so much I ended up coming here again for lunch! This time my husband and I both enjoying the taco plates. He loved his tacos, and the rice and beans as well.This taco shop is located at the Valero gas station on the corner of Main and Allen Heights. It has its own separate space from the gas station store, also with a parking space like literally in front of the front door (I love that). Be sure to watch for hours, as they open early but close early too. Enjoy!

Really good flavor for the type of food. Clean and good service. Taste Homemade flavor (That's important).just I think the corn tortillas were too small.
