Montes Burritos

Solid burritos. Nothing to write home about but I'd certainly stop here before some place like Taco Bell. I got the south of the border and the montes burritos, both pretty good. Came out super quick too. And you can see them being cooked right behind the counter so you know these aren't cheap frozen burritos that they're heating and serving. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but they're definitely good. Oh and both the salsa and salsa verde are very tasty.

I love coming here for a breakfast burrito. I normally get the egg burrito, Mexicana, and a Barbacoa burrito super yummy tortillas are always nice and fresh

Gas station burritos don't usually sound appetizing but this place is amazing. The homemade, fresh tortillas and the spicy green hot sauce is so authentic! They are on uber eats for easy online order but even has a drive thru that is quick - even during the lunch rush.

I was so excited to try this place... Was hoping I found a good hole in the wall. The lunch rush made me feel confident it was going to be good... Far from it. I bought 2 Montes & a Chorizo & Potato. All flavorless & frozen ingredients. Food wasn't hot (despite the wait). Green salsa tasted rancid. Homemade tortillas were not impressive. They all ended up in the trash.

I used to come here often but took a little break and decided to order two burritos today. I got my regular barbacoa and added a chorizo, egg and potato burrito also. These are not the same burritos I used to enjoy. Both burritos tasted like nothing. The barbacoa was tender per usual but had minimal seasoning and the chorizo burrito was worse, unflavored eggs, sparse chorizo and the potatoes were not fully cooked. The green sauce was the only thing that made these burritos edible, they were very disappointing. I can't see myself going back unfortunately.

Very good Carne Guisada, I grew up in South Texas and it's nice to have the same tasting Carne Guisada that I grew up on. Delicious

Burritos are the best!!! homemade tortillas, mostly take out in a gas station! Breakfast burritos are amazing too.

I just moved away from my hometown & was missing my favorite taco place. I looked on Yelp and found this place and figured I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did because if reminds me so much of home. The service was great and the atmosphere made it feel like I was back in my hometown. The tortillas are homemade and the food is fresh. Not to mention the Mexican Coke they have which is top tier! This is definitely my new spot!!!

There's no better place than Montes Burritos. Rachel and her staff are top notch... Customer service is exceptional. then you have food and that's cherry on top they go above and beyond your expectations. This is the best food I've ever tasted in my life and the owners are absolutely amazing if you're ever in Dallas, you've got to eat here!!!

I used to love getting burritos here, but the quality has really gone downhill. Now, it mostly just tastes like salt and meat--none of the flavor or balance it used to have. It's disappointing when you expect something delicious but end up with something bland and overly salty. I hope they bring back the old recipe or start paying more attention to seasoning because it was so much better before
