Mom's Spice

HANDS DOWN best Biryani and Chicken I've had in years (and I've tried Indian food all around town). I was initially skeptical of quality and flavor because this place is located inside of a gas station , but I was NOT prepared to love it , just Whoa ! Also , the owner is super friendly and made me feel at home . I've already bookmarked this place and will def be back !

It's absolutely fantastic so happy they are open again. Can't go a week without it. Use to drive to his brothers place but now Mo is back and so am I!!

AWESOME FOOD. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Had the buffet and tried everything (great). Will definitely come back on my next trip to Texas.

This place is a hole in the wall counter service and lunch buffet place. Inside a gas station. And it's phenomenal. The food is authentic, the biryani is fire, the burritos are so freaking good it's ridiculous. My dad is hard core Mexican and American food only, no Indian food. He loves this place. When he comes to visit for a week we have to go there at least three times and he gets a burrito to go on his way out of town. Same for my boyfriend, and he never turns down a Mom's Spice burrito. Their dal is some of the best I've ever had and they make their rice fresh several times a day. A must try for even the pickiest eaters!

Moms Spice is a cool spot attached to a gas station. I almost missed it but I'm so glad I didn't!!! Had the buffet and the food was amazing. Loved the naan bread. The older gentleman who greeted us was awesome. It's a great little spot to catch a meal. Glad's I gave it a chance!!! You should too!!!

This little place is attached to gas station. It was bright and lots of seating. Lunch buffet 11-3am with enough offering, lentils, chicken tiki masala, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, beef curry. We got the goat birayani to go.The owner is sweet and friendly so give this place a try when craving good curry!

We had food delivered from here not too long ago, and I'm already ready to do it again! The food was so delicious, super flavorful and well seasoned, and came nicely packaged. It was still warm after the drive but we heated it up a bit, I like my food hot hot! This food is really wonderful heated up leftover, too. The menu isn't huge, but there are still plenty of options. We ordered chicken tikka masala, beef curry, vegetable biryani, and daal (lentils). All of the rice was so fluffy and flavorful, and the chicken and beef dishes were both rich, creamy, and spicy. The lentils were perfect. I loooove lentils! And Jon enjoyed the naan, of course. Affordable and authentic and all around delicious. I'm pretty sure we'll be adding Mom's Spice to our takeout roster!

The food is great. This used to be our go to place for chicken tikka and their biriani. However their prices have gone WAY up , especially for their tikka.

The ratio of spices are perfectly balanced and best mouthwatering biriyani. I'll say he is a magician of biriyani.

The staff is very nice and super friendly. The food was ok. The tandoori chicken was tasty and the tikka masala was good but the food was just insipid which is so disconcerting considering the spice and flavor of Indian cuisine. I don't think I'll be back and I'm not sure I can recommend Mom's Spice. I'm sorry I couldn't honestly provide a better review.
