I haven't had much Hawaiian food, and the times I have, it never really impressed me--though to be fair, I've never had it authentically in Hawaii, so I haven't had much to compare it to. But after this meal, I'm completely convinced that I need to book a trip to Hawaii STAT.I got the Mini Plate, which was the perfect portion size for me, as it comes with two meat choices, white rice, and mac salad. For my two proteins, I went with Kalua Pig and Teriyaki Chicken, and let me tell you--it has altered my brain chemistry. The chicken had crispy burnt pieces that I absolutely love on grilled chicken. The pork wasn't overly salty and was so moist. I ordered everything I don't usually eat, but if anyone could've convinced me to enjoy pork, teriyaki, and mac salad, it's Mo' Bettahs.

Since living in the area, I have had more Hawaiian style food than I've ever eaten. I decided to give Mo'Bettahs a try. While I enjoyed the chicken, I wasn't too thrilled about the macaroni salad. It wasn't the best for me. Maybe it was the fact that it included carrots in it. I like macaroni salad without all of the extra ingredients. However, the chicken was juicy and flavorful. I would definitely get it again.

Stopped in to try the new place near to my home and get me some Hawaiian vibes. I feel the food was a very good portion to value. I had the two meat with teriyaki chicken and teriyaki steak(steak is a slight up charge of $1-2). I felt the service was good and all of the food was fresh and good tasting. The portion size was good but leaned to four stars instead of five due to price. Out the door my cost for thePlate combo was about $18. Now back to my point of value is I will get two meals out of this for the price but it does not mean I want to eat it twice in a short period of time. I would prefer to pay $9-11 and have more of a right sized portion. This will not keep me from coming back as it provides good variety to the options nearby.

I think the food was good! Nothing exciting. It's fast food anyway right, but it's nice that a hawaiian bbq drive thru exists. The chicken I bought (both teriyaki and the pepper/garlic ones) was tasty but super charred. The macaroni salad was sooo good. I was annoyed that I asked for sauce in the side and they made me wait 5-10 min at a drive thru window for my food and also gave me the wrong sauce, but at the end of the day it satisfies a craving in a convenient way. Couldn't say much about ambiance as I did drive through.

Wife & I came here for a quick lunch. The food was pretty good. Much better than Hawaiian Brothers. The atmosphere was very nice, my wife liked it! The service was pretty good as well. The only negative was a dead grasshopper between our table. Should have taken a picture of it but We plan to come back again anyway.
