Highly recommended. If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, outstanding service and a fantastic dining experience in Coppell, Miriam Cocina Latina is it. Our server, Bella, friendly, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to walk us through recommendations, offering insightful suggestions based on our preferences. It was clear she was passionate both the food and the dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food-absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with Carne Asada if you love steak, or Puerco Verde for a delicious slow cooked pork shoulder dish with tomatillo&poblano, roasted squash served with coconut rice. Definitely order one of their refreshing agua frescas in mango, tamirand, strawberry, guava...so good. Fun night out, great date night or a place to bring friends and family. We will definitely be back.

The chocolate cake was amazing. We got braised short rib empanadas and the Four Amigos. Both were good. I'm not a fan of Mexican Rice or Black Beans. I was astonished by how good both were here. Their iced tea had a distinct flavor and was outstanding. Someone mentioned how loud it was here. We're here at 4:45 so there aren't many folks having dinner yet. The music was a nice piano bar kind of what I would call jazz. What a pleasant place to eat. Roberto took fantastic care of us. We never get desert but he recommended the cake and it was with it.

5 out of 5 in all categories!I've now been here three times since they opened in Coppell, and each visit has been consistently phenomenal! Every dish I've tried has been absolutely delicious--from drinks to appetizers, entrées, and even desserts. This time, I had Camila's Martini, the Empanadas Cubanas, and the Carne Asada, and I have to give a special shoutout to the Chocolate Caliente Cake--it was incredible!Beyond the amazing food, the service from everyone on staff was just as spectacular. Maria, our server, was so warm, friendly, and patient with our large group. She gave excellent recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. We were celebrating my grandmother's 93rd birthday, and she went above and beyond to make it special, bringing her a dessert with a candle so we could all sing Happy Birthday. The vibes were immaculate! We also had the pleasure of meeting the Chef/Owner Miriam, who was such a joy! She took the time to explain the vision behind the menu, and as a Central American family, we felt truly welcomed and at home here.We cannot wait to return for more family gatherings! The beautiful waterfront location and cozy, heated patio make it the perfect spot to celebrate and enjoy an unforgettable meal.Highly recommend!

This newly opened restaurant in Cypress Waters was packed on a Friday night, we had to wait a bit even with a reservation! Excellent ambiance, good energy, good service and very tasty food! The owner, Miriam was there welcoming and taking care of the guests. The drinks were well made. All three salsas were yummy, the green one was my fav. Fish and shrimp tacos were packed with flavor and texture. We couldn't resist the desserts and tried the coconut creme brulee and tres leches. Both were really good! Do give this place a try if you are in the area.

This location is even better than the downtown one as it's much closer to me! 5 stars all around! Fiesta Hours (Happy Hour) 3-6 has solid choices. Bright area, not crowded for sitting. Duo verde appetizer is my go to - queso verde is my crutch. All 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and are looking forward to returning next week w a group of 7 for our dinner club. Great addition to the area!

This is a spanking brand new restaurant in the Cypress Waters development. It's where Ascension coffee was if you've been a resident for sometime. Miriam was there when we visited around 11 AM just after opening on a Tuesday. The crowd started to bill so people are starting to realize that this is a quality cuisine in their neighborhood. Many workers around for lunch so I'm sure it could get busy probably wanna make reservations later on in the year. This place gets better now they have lots of servers on hand, hostess and full kitchen going. The menu was pretty creative and the combination specials are what I like so I didn't have to just try one dish. Thank you They did an excellent job with the renovation and made it very bright and modern inside the service from the kitchen was fast and efficient. There's a small but very nice bar and private dining room in the back which seems to be able to fit at least eight people I would highly recommend trying it out and I believe this will be one of the standards and Coppell Cypress Waters area for Latin cuisine And Tex-Mex style dishes. I definitely vote this over the other options within a couple of mile radius. The outdoor space has a lot of seating and is enclosed for poor weather with full hvac but the windows can open on excellent weather days. Enjoy!

Great addition to The Sound and Coppell / Irving area!Having not been a fan of The Sound's rendition of Ascension Coffee, it's good to see it was replaced with something I'll definitely visit often! The interior atmosphere is nicely done, albeit a bit loud! The good news about that is it was very busy with lots of happy looking customers. The three salsas brought out with chips were all different but equally good. The waiter mentioned they had a fourth, spicier option for those that want it!Duo verde was a good choice. A bowl each of queso verde and guac. Liked the "4 Amigos" taco option giving the ability to try four different ones. Shrimp was top of my list followed by the pork belly... but all were tasty!Definitely more than enough food!Might have rounded down my 4.5 star review had it not been for Miriam who was cheerfully working the front. What a sweet lady who you can tell loves what she's doing! The "many faces of Miriam" framed photographs hanging in the dining room are a mood-setter in a good way!Get yourselves to Miriam's Cocina! You won't regret it!
