We weren't impressed with this dish
Paesano
Russia
Their version of Focaccia. It's more pita like, but still delicious
Calamari
Russia - grilled chicken, spicy vodka sauce with added mushrooms.

This smaller restaurant is in a perfect location if you're attending an event at the AAC. It can be a bit crowded and noisy but within steps of the venue and pricing is reasonable. Their calamari is on point and tender. We shared two of their pizzas - the margherita and the diavalo. The flavor in both was great though be prepared for the spice level in the diavalo, it's hotter than described by the waitress. Service felt a bit rushed like they were trying to get folks in and out but it was overall attentive.

Great Italian restaurant with some fire pizzas and pastas. If you're in Victory Park, this is a great restaurant to visit either before or after a sports game for good food, ambiance, and service. This time we ordered the calamari, Russia pasta, and cioppino. In the past, we've also gotten the Diavolo and Margherita pizzas.- Calamari was good, you could tell the squid was fresh and chewy.- Russia pasta was tasty, although definitely a bit spicy from the spicy vodka sauce.- Cioppino was also flavorful and had good quality seafood.- Diavolo pizza is spicy for sure but the fresh mozarella and spicy Italian sausage are amazing; I can see why it's a favorite.- Margherita pizza was good, but you can get this anywhere so I would skip it here and get something unique.Make a reservation if possible! Seating is difficult to secure, especially on game days.

Usually I sit with a friend at the bar for either half price wine Wednesdays or $4 martini Thursdays. My friend and I shared a lovely salad and a burrata pizza. Give it a whirl - just avoid game nights.

Literally go here. Jessica and Tyler behind the bar are so hospitable and don't leave anything to want. We started with the Caesar and Ragu di Agnello and OMG. You can't go wrong. Egzon gave us the lowdown on great amazing wines and answered any and every question we had. The atmosphere is perfect and cozy with a great musical playlist great ambiance for a date! We came here after the Mavericks game and it was the perfect place to go. Go here. True Italian food.Adding a quick edit: so we went here again the next night and I got the margarita flatbread. My first bite I can't describe. Y'all...I ate the whole thing by myself. I've starved myself off carbs for so long that that one bite turned me feral and I ate it ALL. I have never had flatbread THIS good. I need to go back just for this on my cheat days omggggg.

This place never fail to be consistent with their food, friendly services, and a great ambience to have a late night dinner for one. I highly recommend their brisket dumplings (just tell your waiter that and they know what it is), Russia pasta dish (I add mushrooms to my dish), and Tiramisu. These are my go-to when I come here. I also recommend their pizzas as it is fluffy with the right amount of dough and crisp from that oven of their. I came alone tonight to grab dinner and the GM always comes by and chat with me. Ask for Egzon when you get there and he will have his staff take care of you. Trust that everything on their menu is delicious

Multiple Visits, Good Food Every Time. Check for a Reservation if the AA Center has an EventOrdered: (App) Calamari - 4/5 - The calamari was cooked perfectly and was not rubbery. Good amount of breading that was well seasoned. The sauce was very flavorful. (Main) Aragosta - 4/5 - Well cooked pasta in a good sauce. The lobster and shrimp in the filling tasted fresh and light. The portion size was a little too small. (Main) Nonno's - 4/5 - This pasta was packed with flavor and tasted very good. The shrimp were a tad overcooked, enough to be noticeable but not enough to be a huge problem. (Dessert) Tiramisu - 4/5 - Not generally a fan of tiramisu, but this one was light yet also rich. (Dessert) Nutella - 4/5 - Interesting dessert, reminded me of chocolate crepes. Mio Nonno is either very busy (during an event at the American Airlines Center), or almost empty. If you plan to go on an event day, reservations are probably needed. I went once on an event night and once on a regular night and the difference in restaurant was noticeable. The food and service quality remained high across both nights, but the atmosphere changed. On a a game night, the atmosphere is like that of a packed upscale bar. On a non-event night, the restaurant felt like an intimate, hole in the wall pick.

They were not busy and the service was bad. They just stood around talking and forgot drinks several times. They only have 2 items that r not pasta based. I had salmon and it was burnt. My friend had the veal and chewy. They seem to not care as they r across the street from AA Center so probably rely on business before a game or entertainment. Menu is very limited. Caesar salad was loaded with dressing. We were very disappointed as this is not a good quality restaurant. Servers just stood around and talked.

Horrible food, salty pizza, overcooked pasta, and $8 to add 4 pieces of chicken to your pasta. Terrible service, waiter kept forgetting things we asked her for and kept standing around. Interior and music are the 2 stars. Don't come here for less than overpriced mediocre food.
