This place is a gem. Well worth the money. The room is clean, and relaxing. It doesn't feel like a hotel, feels more like a nice home. It's cozy, the views are amazing, it has a full refrigerator, and cooking stove. The gym is state of the art (my fav)! I'll definitely be going again in the future. Please call the facility before arriving to figure out the parking or you may end up getting frustrated like I did. However, after I called and addressed my concerns they were super helpful and the rest of my stay was awesome. They still get a 5 review because the pros outweigh this one issue for me. So go take someone with you and enjoy the experience. You won't regret it.

I stayed here with my family in early Feb. It was nice to stay at a apartment/condo type place while on vacation. Mint House is located inside the Santander building so the lobby is kept clean & the staff are there 24/7, very secure. The one inconvenience would be the many elevators to get to our room. Our room may have been located above the restaurant so we could hear the noise at times. I also didn't get a confirmation email with the check in instructions so I had to call to receive it.Tip: No room service is provided or was provided during our stay so may want to keep that in mind or ask customer service on that. Customer Service: The staff are all friendly and helpful with answering questions prior to/after booking the reservation. The customer service staff via phone aren't always aligned to the location you are staying at so there are times where they need to check with someone else before providing a response; however, they got back to me pretty quickly.Location: The Mint House is located in downtown Dallas so most places are walkable on a nice day. Mint House is initally hard to spot if you are driving by though.Parking: $30/day. The parking lot is secure and connected to the building for easy & convenient access. I'd recommend to just pay for parking in the lot if you are staying here as it's more safe & convenient.Pros:-Nice, clean & modern place to stay-washer and dryer-full size fridge-stove -plates, bowls, utensils -dishwasher-nice gym-walkable location to places & restaurants-easy check in and check out-access to restaurants in the buildingCons:-We had to take 3 elevators to get to our room from the parking garage (and vice versa). If going to our room from the lobby, we had to take 2 elevators.-no cribs/playpen provided-no bathtub (only shower avail)-no swimming pool-no ideal loading zone-keyfob provided only works for your apartment door & gym access (not the elevators-the building only has a ramp on one entrance so it isn't as stroller/wheelchair etc friendly to get in if you are walking in on the side without the ramp.-no secure lock box-not dog friendly -unlike hotels, there's no washrooms in the lounge areas or lobby to useI'd come back and stay here again. :)

We had an overnight stay in Mint Hotel Dallas and albeit short stay we had a good experience. We had trouble using the key provided and their after hours staff were extremely prompt in helping us. However I have one issue, when I went to use the face towel in the bathroom, it was unclean and had caked up make up on it.

Okay, so Mint House is more like apartments, but there are rooms available for short stays. My boss found rooms on hotels.com and we booked a few for a work conference. The price was very reasonable, comparable to 2-3 star hotels in downtown Dallas. The cleanliness, high ceilings, furniture and decor of the building and rooms were more like a 3-4 star hotel tho! I loved how spacious the rooms were, the record player (that works!) and old records provided, and how good the whole place smelt! I think the rooms for short stays are on the top 3 floors of the building (48-50), offering beautiful view of the city. Similar to the first reviewer, I had to check in online, scan my ID and pay a $200 deposit that I will get back. I don't remember consenting to any background check, but I must not have read the terms very thoroughly as I arrived late at night and just wanted to get to my room. The staff greeted me upon entering and was so incredibly nice, my first warm, southern welcome in Dallas. Staff changed throughout my stay, but they were proactive with their communication via text and response time was super quick. I had absolutely no issues with the pass code to get into the building or room. No issues with anything in the room, and slept like a baby in the big, comfortable beds. It's centrally located, walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions. I would most definitely return and stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at Mint House Dallas for a weekend getaway, and overall, we had a good experience. The hotel was fairly clean, though there was a bit of dust in some areas, and a few kitchen drawers were broken, which was slightly inconvenient. Despite that, the view from our room was stunning and definitely a highlight of our stay. The location is ideal, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city. While you do need to take three separate elevators to reach the rooms, the elevators are fast, and there are plenty of them, so it didn't feel like a hassle at all. One downside was the couch in the room, which was extremely uncomfortable and not ideal for lounging, but the bed was very comfortable and gave us a good night's rest. The hotel also has a clean and well-equipped gym in the basement, which was a nice perk. Despite the small issues, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning for another visit. The location and view make it a worthwhile stay in Dallas!

If you are looking for places to stay in downtown Dallas, this is it. Do you like high rise city views on the 48-50th floor? Mint house has the prettiest overlook from each room. I loved all of the natural light that came in through the tall glass windows during the daytime. I was able to wfh while getting some laundry done, all while on a quick stay in downtown Dallas. I would absolutely stay here again. The best part, it's quiet! I didn't hear neighbors above or beside me, the hallways were quiet, you are so high above the streets, you aren't hearing cars speed by every 5 minutes, it was very relaxing. There are also plenty of coffee shops or places to eat nearby. I loved that everything was a 5 - 15 min drive from this hotel. Plenty of things to see and do within walking distance as well. This was a last minute book for us being as though we had issues with our Airbnb we had reserved. We knew we needed a washer and dryer, and had originally chosen an Airbnb for that purpose. Good to know/discover this is the perfect hybrid of hotel + Airbnb. It was pricier than our Airbnb we had booked, but we were thankful Mint House accepted our 9pm reservation on a Sunday night, checking in 30 mins later. We spoke to security on the first floor, who told us to take the elevator to meet the mint house concierge who would get us checked in, and direct us to the 50th floor where our unit was. Very easy check in. There were some very minor things to notice during our stay with our specific room but nothing we felt the need to mention during our short two night stay. The morning after checking in, I was interested in making a pot of coffee. I noticed the previous coffee & filter from a different guest was still in the pot, threw it out, and chose to not make any coffee due to that not being cleaned out. No biggie. More the reason to check out a local coffee shop nearby which I did. Our shower door handle was broken, and hanging on by a thread. Also didn't mention to the hotel. It was easy to push the glass door open and closed without having to use the handle. Lastly, our record player was broken. I loved that they provided a couple of records to play, which I did try, but sadly the record player was just for looks in this specific unit on the 50th floor. Also didn't mention because we were only there to sleep, shower, and use the washer and dryer. Most all other time was spent exploring the city or working a couple of hours in the living room overlooking the pretty sky high city views. I loved the washer pods that were provided by the hotel. I think we had a total of four for our two night stay, and I was able to get two to three loads in before checking out which was nice. We had a long trip in three different cities total, and needed to wash and dry some clothes before moving on to the next city. Both the washer and dryer were clean with no funky smells. Mint house was a saving Grace to a very misleading airbnb choice we had previously selected. Very thankful for our experience overall with Mint.

One of the best properties that I have stayed at. The mobile check in process was smooth and easy. The property is located in the heart of Downtown Dallas and provided for easy access to shopping and food. Everything exceeded expectation!!!

Pleasantly Surprised! this is a hidden gem in downtown Dallas. It was my first time staying at Mint House, and was not sure what to expect, but my experience was exceptional. I received a text right away from concierge team, I think the persons name was Hoag (he was super friendly and helpful). There is no need to formally check in or out, which I love.To my surprise, at arrival I learned that my room was upgraded to a two bedroom suite. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the view of the city was gorgeous.I will definitely be back again.

This is NOT a hotel, which wasn't completely clear when I booked on Hotels.com. Overall it was a pleasant experience thoughI got an email the morning that we had booked to stay that I needed to complete virtual check in before they would send me the information on how to access the apartment. This involved submitting a photo, front and back, of my drivers license - odd but okay. Next I was prompted to consent to a BACKGROUND CHECK. No other details on what this meant or encompassed at all. I only booked the room for one night so I felt that this was pretty intrusive and I wasn't fully comfortable in consenting to give this company blanket access to pretty much any and all information about me but the room was booked, paid for and we were already on the way there so I did it. Check in was 3 and by 4 I still hadn't received the email so I installed the Mint House app and used the concierge chat to speak with a rep. He was able to find my reservation and send the email within a few minutes. We arrived around 6pm ( after a 5 hr drive) and the front desk gave us our room keys and had us on our way in 2 minutes. ( The online check in turned out to be great in expediting everything at arrival - still feel weird about the background check thing though) I booked a corner studio suite for the great view and the view was amazing. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy, great pillows and bedding. The room was very well furnished and the mini kitchen appliances were high end and very nice. The unit that we had was very small and not furnished like the photos online though. There was no sofa or living area in room 4903. There were a couple of chairs that were crammed into a corner because the space was so small. The kitchenette area was very nice. A few glasses were provided as well as some silverware but the area was awkwardly positioned around the corner ( not open concept like the stock photos) and didn't have a sink- which made it a bit awkward if you did want to prepare any food or wash any of the provided dishes after use. Overall for one night the room was perfectly adequate and very comfortable. If staying longer or plan to prepare any food rather than eating out, , upgrading to a one bedroom unit ( which has a full kitchen) would be well worth the extra few bucks. Overall, I would book again - and why not, they already know everything about me after the background check.
