I went to this restaurant for lunch and my plan was to sit down. The place looked cozy with nice music and soccer games on the TV. I got to the counter and ordered a small pizza (which was $20) and I went to a table. The person at the cash register seemed like he didn't want to be there and was rushing me (even though the place was empty). When I got to my table, they gave me a water pitcher which the top was covered with dirt and mold. At that point I decided to get my food to go.The pizza was somewhat decent, although it was smaller than the example size that they had, but it was decent for pizza. All in all, would not recommend.

Being that I'm vegan, I was really excited to try this place after looking at the website.. the pictures of their food menu was looking really good for vegetarian/vegan which is a rare find sometimes and to be actually good !! SO DISAPPOINTING!! And the price !! TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET! This is "customers beware" don't let the pictures fool you! Then there were red flags that we ignored upon arrival ... such as ... when I asked for a Caesar salad they asked me what kind of dressing I wanted in my Caesar Salad. ??? that was 1st . 2nd is when the man taking our order said he doesn't like vegan or vegetarian??!But we decided to look past that and give it a try anyway!! Then My Caesar salad came... NOTHING CEASAR ABOUT IT!! It was a house salad . .. I even asked is this my Caesar salad . He replied.. yes! It wasn't!! . what was supposed to be the Parmesan cheese , croutons and Roman lettuce.. was Parmesan crackers in place of Parmesan cheese and croutons on iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and carrots ! I just said to partner I'll let the salad pass this time, only because I was so hungry . And stated " Hopefully the rest of the food won't be the same". .. But no such luck!! .. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, thinking of what the menu photo looked like .. I received what looked like school cafeteria spaghetti w/ chopped Up ground beef .., NO MEATBALLS!! I then asked the server where my meatballs were, he said " oh we chopped them up because customers complained about the taste so, we found if we chop it up , the taste is better. WHAT ! . I'm like what difference does it make if it's chopped up or in a meatball form ??? !! But I want meatballs. I didn't ask for them chopped up in my spaghetti.. Then he said " I can warm you a couple of meatballs in the microwave if you like ". !! At this point I'm like, MICROWAVE!! Oh my lord, Hold my tongue and let it go ...OK!! Oh the pizza and fried eggplant we order came next ....: That had to be good... right ????!!!! NOPE!! Everything on our plates was processed vegan alternatives you can purchase from the grocery store and absolutely no seasonings... I would have more flavor gnawing on a piece of cardboard than the food we were served. We had to put a lot of pepper, salt, crushed red pepper and hot sauce to give any flavor to the food. And speaking of plates /dinnerware .. dollar tree items .. as dining establishments .. you have to do better than that seriously . Good note : Establishment was clean rate it about a 7 that's about all I can say was a good about my experience.. I will not recommend this place unless you like the processed/ low to no seasoning experience.. and spending a lot of money for your BLAH EXPERIENCE !!

The one-star is for the atrocious lack of lighting and dangerous atmosphere in the parking lot. Leaving the restaurant on Monday night, my car's left front bumper was severely damaged exiting the nearly completely pitch black parking area, as I smashed right into the curb. Extremely difficult to see where you're going if you're here at night. The restaurant is an a secluded, abandoned, recessed area off of Alpha and the sketchy rundown atmosphere and lack of lighting is a terrible liability. At the very least, put up some damn lights in the parking lot if you're going to run a business.

This is a Kosher pizzeria located inside the deserted and empty mall serviced by a nice Israeli woman. But in reality, I didn't come for the pizza. I came because of its unique offerings that can't really be had anywhere else in Dallas - basically the Israeli bites I listed below.Four really Israeli things on the menu here:1. BURAKA - (aka boureka/borek) baked phyllo or puff pastry filled with various toppings2. MELAWASH - a Yemenite Jewish dish that is popular in Israel usually consisting of pan-fried puff pastry bread made into a wrap consisting of green olives, mozzarella, tomatoes, mushrooms, corn, hard-boiled egg and served with tomato dip3. ZIVA - an Israeli fusion of Buraka and Melawash, it is a puff pastry, cooked like a melawash, but looks like a boureka, and topped with sesame and stuffed with cheese and olives, usually4. MALABI - also very Israeli, and is similar to the Italian panna cotta in that they both are milk puddings. I wanted to try this for dessert as it was listed in the menu but they were out of thisWhile there are "typical" ingredients, you can pretty much add anything you want into them. The flexibility comes from this place being a pizza shop, so it's nice. The only reason why I am not giving this place more stars is because:1) it's a little pricey, considering where it's at, and the type of food - $10 for a ziva - which was what I ordered2) the atmosphere is very bare-boned, sterile, and utilitarianIf they lowered the price a bit, then this would easily get four stars instead of the current three. The ziva I ordered was good though, and filling - as I had it stuffed with nearly all vegetables and feta and mozzarella cheese. It came with tomato sauce, hard-boiled egg, and chopped picklesBut either way, for some Israeli snacks, I wouldn't mind coming back here and try some of the other things, considering there really isn't any other place to try them in DFW. They do delivery, so that's also a good thing. I heard the same owner opened another restaurant (Cafe Rene), which is said to have both a bigger menu and a nicer atmosphere, in Plano's Willow Bend mall. This place will stay open for as long as the mall stays open - there are plans to tear down this mall to redevelop the area into Midtown Dallas.OTHER NOTES:COFFEE: they use Nespresso podsLOCATION: they're not in the food court, but you can find them if you look it up in the mall directoryKOSHER: As Kosher as it can get - they have kippahs, donation box, and prayer books, to make the most of the traditional Jewish customs of blessing the meal

I would have preferred a frozen pizza. Step up your game !!! Sauce was bitter and the dough tasted light pisbery. Also $20 FOR A SMALL PIZZA. There is no way you are at the level to charge $20 for this in your scary looking restaurant.

Hostile place! if you have children be aware. we waited for 30 min for our food, they gave us the wrong food, and when we asked them about it nicely, the manager started cursing at loud in front of the kids and literally went bananas. Seriously the manager was coming to our table and was threatening us, "you don't know who I am" & "get the f** out of my restaurant".Good thing the guy in the kitchen was a good guy, and had to literally grab onto the manager so he couldn't get physical. We are such nice people and were so nice, I can just imagine what other customers went through, and didn't know how to rate or report.
