Mi Cocina

My fiancé and I aren't usually fans of Mexican food, but it was wonderful! The food was fresh and the portions are large for the price. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained as well. Our server was relatively inattentive (empty drinks, waiting a while to order), but everything else was wonderful.Edit: Docking one more star because we were charged almost TWENTY dollars for queso. We were charged more for queso than our actual food.

My experience at this location did not go as I had imagined. Our server Mr.Efrain was very friendly to those at my table, but was not as engaged with us compared to other tables around. A table that was seated roughly 15 minutes after us ordered before us, and we waited another 10 minutes before we were given the opportunity to order food. I ordered the beef enchiladas, and received chicken instead. I began to eat my enchiladas after finishing my sides, and was enjoying myself with those at my table, until I bit into a bone that was in my enchiladas. I did not finish my meal, and I proceeded to ask for the check. The atmosphere is good with many families and friends, but it can get very loud during busy hours with tables being so close to each other. I am hoping my next experience is not like this one if I were to try it again.

We stopped by here for a quick lunch the other day and were not disappointed. The brisket tacos are very good here - chunky, tender pieces of brisket folded in to appropriately toasted corn tortilla with a hint of cheese and spicy salsa on the side. What's not to love? The rice that comes on the side is delicious and very flavorful, chock-full of herbs and deep flavor. Our server was polite and kind. He refilled our drinks quickly and was knowledgeable about the menu. Guacamole was also very good and chips were fresh. The outdoor seating area is nice and spacious and also covered so you're not fully exposed to the heat and sun. Great place for outdoor lunch or casual dinner with friends or family.

The manager, Amok, was very accommodating. Our office was having a going away luncheon and 16 people RSVP'd. When we gathered for lunch, we had 23 people. The team at Mi Cocina quickly allocated more seating even though they were busy with the lunch rush. They let our team members pay individually which most restaurants don't allow for large parties. Domingo was the server at my table (We had two tables). He provided excellent service. The food was delicious!

Highly recommend!! The food is always FANTASTIC! My personal favorite is the sunset style chicken fajitas. The drinks are well worth the price. Some of the best chips and salsa around.Service staff is very attentive to all needs.

I love Mi Cocina, specially this location, the hospitality and atmosphere here is amazing. Margaritas and fajitas always are good! Lily the manager was always attentive to my table. Will definitely come back again!

Mi Cocina is a collection of neighborhood restaurants serving authentic Tex-Mex dishes and legendary margaritas all over Dallas - Fort Worth and beyond.The service was amazing. We had a great time looking over Dallas' lush art district while enjoying margaritas and guacamole.

This is by far the best Mi Cocina! We previously frequented a different location until about 3 years ago when we changed to the Campbell location. This location is not the closest to our house, but well worth the extra drive. We have never had a bad experience here. That says something since we have been going here once a week for over 3 years now. The food tastes better here! Always perfect! Also, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They really care about the customers experience. We highly recommend this location!

We have enjoyed the food, beverages, service and friendly family atmosphere for over 20 years. Lupe and Aloc are so inviting and friendly. Both gentleman make sure the customers are treated with care and delicious food. My favorite servers are Ernasto and Jose. Their food is always delicious.
