It's a nice family-owned and run restaurant that has an extensive menu. The service is good, the ambiance is good, and the food is good but nothing extraordinary.We ordered a Filete a La Veracruzana: "Catfish fillet in buttered, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers, served with crab salad, and rice" & Enchiladas Mexicanas Rojas (Chicken). The Enchiladas Mexicanas Rojas was indicated as spicy (a red pepper beside it on the menu) but it wasn't. It had good flavors but was not as hot as we expected. The Filete a La Veracruzana was an interesting take on the fish but in my opinion, could have been seasoned a bit more. The Crab Salad that came along with the fish was outstanding.Good cosy place with ample private parking but there is one narrow way for both entry and exit which can be an issue.

Authentic. I can't remember the last time tortillas and butter were served as an app. (At least not at a restaurant - my husband's abuela would do it years ago). Enchiladas and flautas were both great. Rice and beans are great. Good salsa. Fresh chips. Margaritas are a bit weak and service is friendly but a little slow. We'd come back if in the neighborhood.

Such a great local spot. The staff here is very nice, and the food is authentic. It's perfect when you want Mexican food for a fair price - no frills. You HAVE to start with the queso. It's bubbling, it's creamy and buttery. So good. I love their taco salad, but have also enjoyed their enchiladas.Husband tried the chicken burrito this time and really enjoyed it.

We wanted to try a Mexican restaurant near White Rock lake and landed on Mexico Lindo. It was a full house with lots of happy people when we walked in which felt like a great sign. However, 3 stars is my vote because of the slow service and uneventful meal/drinks.It started super strong, my mom LOVING the tortilla chips. However, when I approached the hostess for something she wouldn't look at me, responded to me but wouldn't even turn her head while speaking. With our waitress we ordered a sangria and we were served a sangria wine, later asking for ice. It tasted like a typical sangria but it was oddly served. And we split a chicken fajita because we love fajita veggies. But the only veggies we received were onions with the chicken... Lastly, we were done eating for quite some time but saw no sign of our waitress. IOverall lack luster experience. With so many Mexican restaurants in town I don't see myself visiting again.
