We came here with a group because we saw on Plano magazine they had the best Mexican food and margaritas. The Birria tacos were delicious!I was a bit disappointed by the margarita selection as there wasn't a wide variety like I thought from the magazine article. Just a lot of different tequilas you could choose to put in your margarita. However our waiter Jonah was a great guide for which drink to get by making suggestions based on likes.

Came here thinking there was a buffet brunch as advertised in Yelp. We actually called prior to going, since we planned on brunch buffet after church for our anniversary. The person who answered our call provided incorrect info.Our server was great and we very apologetic. Nice outdoor seating, soft dj music.Food was very tasty, gourmet style Mexican food.

I had an amazing time at Mexican Bar Company! If you're a fan of spicy cocktails, I highly recommend the hot guava (but skip the agave, trust me on this one). The Brussels sprouts were delicious, especially with the maple sauce on the side. The Queso was a perfect start, and the Carne taco was just what I needed to hit the spot, BUT the Al Pastor was worth ordering twice (and I rarely order porkat restaurants). If you're feeling adventurous, try "The MBC Experience" for $39.50 per person, where the waitress chooses your entire meal. They have the inside scoop, and it really makes for a unique dining adventure!Our waitress, Joni, was outstanding--she made sure everything was just right and really catered to our preferences.Pro tip: ask for the habanero salsa, available by special request--it packs flavor and heat! Plus, salsa dancing starts at 10, which adds to the fun vibe, and the kitchen stays open until 11. Can't wait to come back!

My goodness, this place was delicious and beautiful! You really feel like you are on vacation. A fiesta of flavors and colors. Wonderful service. Mouthwatering Mexican ears, treats and sweets! We ordered a different items- but I have to say- that half chicken was heavenly-cloud 9-out of this world. We shared the half chicken and it was enough for 5 people. Every bite is seasoned so well. Even better for leftovers. We had a breakfast hash and taco the next day. Margaritas are magnificent! Great atmosphere for a wonderful relaxing night! Chef's kiss! All of the delicious were well seasoned- I would only recommend for the chicken Caesar to cut up the chicken- the chicken was a little dry and didn't look very appetizing styled in this manner. Overall, I can't wait to try that chicken again! We will be back!

I had a very fun night recently at Mexican Bar Company. Went on a Saturday with a group of friends and the goal was to hopefully party like we used to in South America. It's hard to find a place that has the right combination of music, ambiance, and service. Mexican Bar Company nails it completely! The music was amazing! We loved the DJ selection and were super impressed by the live music, the signer is an incredible vocalist. What we did not expect was to also have delicious food and beautifully crafted cocktails. Sadly, I don't live in the area otherwise I would be a regular. But I assure you Mexican Bar Company will be in my agenda every time I travel to the greater Dallas area.

Visited here as a party of 9 with a reservation. Had no problem sitting down. But the service was horrible. Our waiter rarely visited our table. We had to flag someone down to get refills and to have our check brought to us. The menu is VERY limited. It is not a place to come hungry at all. I did enjoy the cafe con leche as it was very cold in the restaurant. Drinks were overpriced and mediocre. We did not stay past 9p so I cannot speak on the dance and music vibes. Not sure that I will be back to experience. With plenty of other places nearby with music and food, this place needs to make some changes. Salsa and chicharrones and chips were tasty that is brought to the table to snack on.

Great service, easy seating, and good brunch menu. Not many vegetarian brunch options but they look tastey

Overpriced -check ! small portions -Check ! Did I already say overpriced ?? We came in hoping it will be everything the other reviews say it was and starting with a very kind server and a free serving of chips and Pork rinds , our expectations were high . The menu is limited and designed in a peculiar way where you can only pick three similar kind of Tacos at the same time and the damn Queso costs $13 ? Here is the thing - I am all for high prices if the food is good but not at this place .I really don't even know what to write for the rest of the review since nothing about this place was memorable -perhaps the Lobster Tostada and the sweet server . The drinks were mediocre and so were the Tacos and salsa. You can do better than this place , trust me !

First time at MBC, already looking for to going back. Stopped by for Mariachi Monday, they were amazing. Located in Willow Bend Mall this trendy spot is great for girls night out, date lunch or just dinner out with friends. Upon arrival you are treated to chips and amazing salsas along with pork rinds that are light and crispy. They offer an extensive drink/food list. I had the green chicken enchiladas and they were amazing! Service was good, but the prices are above most similar dining spots. Honestly a bit too pricey.

We stopped by this spot for happy hour. It reminded me of college with "beat the clock" ever hour the menu prices go up for happy hour from 3 to 6. But only on the high tops and bar area. When you sit down you get chips, chicharrones (pork rinds), and two salsas that were both delicious. The Milagro Pinadito Margarita was amazing and tasted like we were on vacation. We also got the barbacoa and carnitas tacos. I preferred the carnitas over the barbacoa. But the carnitas did have peanuts or something that was a bit odd. The vibe was good and staff was friendly. Unfortunately the patio is not dog friendly so we had to put the pup up and have a quick 30 min happy hour.
