Metroplex Gymnastics & Swim

I honestly am not sure why there is so many negative reviews. I noticed they were all about actual classes. I haven't had experience with that yet. I discovered this place when I found out they offer a Parents Night Out every Friday and Saturday! And it is totally affordable! Cheaper than getting a babysitter! The first time I went to drop my son off, like many parents I stayed a while to check the place out and see how he would be there with the staffs that works there to supervise the kids. I was really impressed by a young staff named Deshawn. When he learned that it was not son's first time. He immediately told him that he is welcomed to hang out with him that night. So he would comfortable. This place is also Massive! Different rooms with different things to do. They even have a zipline for the kids! Another thing I love is that you ,as the parent, have the option to have your kiddos play with kids around their own age. Or they can go play with kids of all ages. They have different color wrist band to let the staff know. The cost of the PNO also includes dinner! Cheese pizza and water. Not much but it is easier than packing a dinner for them. My son always ask for more! LolWhen I picked him up at the end of the night. My son didn't want to leave- always a great sign. And all the staff knew his name too! He even made some great friends that he asks to see every week :)So over all, I'm very pleased with this low cost option for parents to have a night out to themselves. It's a little bit of a drive for me since I live in Frisco. But I make that drive every week now since my son is always asking me to take him back!

We LOVE Metroplex Gymnastics and Swim. My daughter has been coming here for the past 4 years! She loves it. The staff is so kind and patient. We've had her birthday party here and it was AMAZING! She has come so far in her swimming and gymnastics! We're looking forward to our second summer at their Summer Camp!

Even after all this time, my son who is a teenager now, remembers this event. At the time he couldn't explain very well what happened as he had a language disorder. Now he can explain exactly what happened. Ms. Sharla was furious that he and another boy were playing when they were supposed to be quiet. She picked him up, shoved him forward with great force against some cabinets, catching his back on the counter top above the cabinets. At the time and to this day, I can't believe the deceit. At first she said nothing happened. Then she said she assisted him to time out. Then she said he fell off a table. I still have the pictures of the bruise on his back. It was a heartbreaking event. From reading other reviews, it doesn't sound like much has changed.

Not really wanting to explain. Poorly run. Management only after money. Hence all of the "night out" sessions (kids sleep over).

Our first time there a week ago on Friday's open gym for toddlers. My 3 & 5 yr old grandkids loved it! Will be going back!

Owners care only about money, not the athletes. They promote that they are better than every other gym, and you don't find out until you get there that you are locked in to a horrible place. Poor communication - numerous coaching changes - won't allow the parents to watch - be careful - stay away from this place!

I've been taking my daughter here since she was 10 months old for gymnastics and swim. We love it!

I LOVE MY COACHES THEY ARE AWESOME AND SO KIND! They help me with stuff I am struggling with and they are extremely helpful to me and other students. I'm in gold and frankly, I love it! I was at ASI but they didn't teach me anything but here I actually learn stuff and yeah I just think its an awesome place and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a place that focuses on stuff you need to learn rather then stuff you already know.

Review is specifically for birthday parties. I've attended one and recently hosted one for toddlers and was very happy with the booking process online, communication emails to prepare supplies ahead of time, and how easy it was to turn over the party to the assigned planners for the day. Olivia was our attendee along with another girl, wish I remembered her name, it was her second day. They were both lovely. Olivia is obviously a seasoned pro and had plenty of suggestions to help the party run smoothly. Perfect place for a 1-5 year old crowd.
