Food and service were excellent. I was surprised by how authentic the food is. I recommend the chicken flautas (taquitos) & the nachos as apps you won't regret them. The only downside is traffic and finding parking on busy weekends or holidays. I will say if you park in the garage to the right of that Mesero and show the host your parking stub there is no charge.. so plan to park in the parking garage and walk about 2-3 minutes. Overall I'd definitely revisit.

My friend and I decided to have a quick dinner before we went to the Serenade Tour at the American Airlines Center. This was our first time going so we were excited. We got there around 6 o'clock. It was pretty busy, but there was a steady flow of seating guest. We sat outside on the patio because it was a nice Sunday afternoon. Our waiter he was very professional. He suggested drinks for us and we went with the Brandon one of the best drinks I have had in a long time 10 out of 10. There is a complementary appetizer of 3 salsa and chips. The green salsa is a Verde. I will give that 8.5 out of 10 has a little kick to it. The middle salsa is a roja. I will give that a 9 out of 10. It has just the right amount of kick to it The last salsa is just a plain regular salsa. I'll give that a 6 out of 10 could use some more seasoning. I took the safe route with fish tacos. I will give the tacos a 7 out of 10. I have to say the tacos were a little bland could've used a little bit more seasoning, adding the Verde and Roja salsa helped. My plate also came with a slaw. That was a little bland as well. A little salt helped. My friend went with the beef quesadillas with a queso side of rice and refried beans. She said hers entrée was good. The queso was too salty for her. Overall, we will return try other items on the menu .

I feel like the picture does not so it justice. I am not a big fan of "Tex-Mex" food, but I was VERY pleasantly impressed... the brisket was very flavorful, the chicken inside the enchiladas was very well seasoned, the rice was good, and so were the beans. And last bur not least, the staff was super attentive and the restrooms were CLEAN.

Great ambiance. Quick service. Easy to access from the victory park area with plenty of parking in the area. Chips and salsa variety was a nice start. Large variety of drink options. Especially tequila. Large variety of dinner options to choose from. Combo plate 6 was a decent portion of food. Bean soup was extremely salty, but everything else was good.

I stopped here in route of attending a concert. I must say I'm glad I did. I sat at the bar so there was no wait at all. All the bartenders were so nice and welcoming the service was amazing. This was my first time but will not be my last. The drinks are strong and they introduce me to a new tequila lol. I enjoyed the fresh chips and different dip flavors.

It was recommended to get a reservation but, as a party of 1, their system wouldn't let me. Not to worry because I was there for an early dinner before a Stars game and able to get a seat at the bar with no problems. I started with their complimentary salsa flight and a house margarita and then went with a nacho appetizer for my meal with a trio of hot sauces. The food was delicious and I'd recommend coming for sure based on that. Service and ambiance was a miss for me though while sitting at the bar. They have traditional bar seating and then seats around a "bar" which reminds me more of sitting at a diner like Waffle House. I'll just say the seating was awkward because the workers congregate there to pick up food from the kitchen and watch over their tables. While my server was quick, he never once smiled and it was obvious that he couldn't wait to get me out of there (this wasn't due to trying to free up a seat either as there were plenty). I would have stuck around for another drink but instead headed out to another spot after finishing my meal.

Despite the fact that this establishment failed to reserve our seat at the proper time, the food was filled with immense amounts of flavor. This Mexican cuisine was mouth watering and satisfied our groups hunger. Delicious and hit the spot!

I love this place! The drinks were good and potent. I had Mr Trey with grand marnier which is their version of Gloria's meltdown (their sister restaurant). For dinner I had the Salmon a la plancha which was so flavorful and presented so beautifully. Our server, Jesus, made our experience that much better. He knows customer service. It was much appreciated.

Food very ,very good. I do burgers at Tex Mex , Mex restaurants only because believe it or not have never been disappointed. Last night was no exception. Ambiance was awesome very pretty place . Food vey tasty. Service not so good . Six in my party . We ordered a few cocktails and I noticed the waiter trying to rush us . Ordered appetizers and he really got antsy. My wife tells him do not bring our appetizers and immediately bring our entrees. Now he says the kitchen closes in twenty minutes. Ok not my problem. If you close at eight and you want to leave then maybe your last seating should be at 6:15- 6:30 . If we wanted to eat in 15 minutes maybe should be in some fast food place. We weren't. Not from Dallas we are from New Orleans. A local friend recommended Mesero. I'm a very good tipper . Have no problem leaving 35-40 percent. Left 20 percent last night and regretted it because he didn't deserve it. His attitude from the time he approached the table to the end sucked. Correction maybe I only left 18 percent. Just tell Edgar I'm not cheap I tip accordingly. And maybe he didn't deserve what he got. Plus two of the ladies at the table asked for their food to be separate ( on company trip) and their alcohol on my check) . Ok my crew we generally don't do that but whatever. But he did not separate their food . No big deal I just paid the check. Besides the service food and atmosphere very good . If this helps table 513 ,order 1690356. One of the patrons at the table who is from NO now lives in Dallas owned a very successful restaurant in NO. He sold out and retired to Dallas . So he knew the drill of you only can control your staff to a certain extent . That why I'm taking my time for this review. I want to hear about good and bad about my employees. And I believe when it's good I take time to leave a good review. When bad likewise. Tell Edgar never judge a book by its cover . My wife and I have already left a $100 tip on a 25 dollar Waffle House check because the waitress deserved it. Don't want to penalize the place too harshly because of the attitude of wait staff . Other than service this place deserves a strong four star review.
