Came here for brunch with some girlfriends. The lady who was providing service was very attentive and made sure that our water glasses were never empty. I got a mimosa, friends ordered the peach Bellini, espresso martini and the Bloody Mary (which she was given the option of making herself or having the bartender make for her). I had lots of questions regarding the menu and I specifically asked about the pimento cheese. The server was nice enough to bring a sample to which everyone agreed it was too spicy for our liking. We place our orders and it wasn't until the food arrived that I realized that this pimento cheese was slathered across my food. The server who came to check on us actually stated "I'm so sorry, I forgot it was on this dish" - however besides the pimento, the eggs were cooked too soft for my liking. I typically don't eat cantaloupe but I was eating it trying to cool my palette down. The creme brûlée was good. Overall a very beautiful ambiance and I'm sure that other meals may be delicious, however this visit was a fail for me. Highly recommend making reservations.

Great place! Quirky decor, amazing service, and excellent food. We ordered several things and are family style and nothing disappointed! We tried the bacon burger, pork chop, tomato soup, tenderloin crostini, and deviled eggs. If we had to choose all over again, we'd substitute the deviled eggs for the Texas Twinkies and the pork chop for the Reuben sandwich and keep everything else. Perfect prequel stop to a visit to the arboretum. Don't blinks you'll miss the entrance! Parking in the back.

INCREDIBLE. The flavors are ON POINT. Will be back. Everything was delicious and it's so vibes inside. Totally inconspicuous from the outside but that adds to the cool factor honestly.

This is a great and unique place in east Dallas. From the outside you will have no idea what you're walking into and will be pleasantly surprised and happy. It is decorated eclectic and done very well. Just like the food, it's unique and everything I have had has been very good. The filet has always been cooked perfectly just the way I ordered it. Their pizza is also very good. The bar is a friendly place and all seem to be happy here. I would highly recommend.

Such a cool little place! Sat down immediately at the bar. Amazing service and such a cool vibe! There's so much to look at. A parking lot out back (and tons of signage telling you so).I got the blackberry76 which was good. Also got the tomato soup which was delicious, however I wish there was an option to order a grilled cheese with it (menu says it comes with a "grilled cheese crostini" and it's literally like 2 inches long lol) because after awhile the soup was a bit salty but some bread would've balanced it out.My husband got the Mufalla (sp?) the Italian sandwich which he said was good but he'd try something else next time. Will def be back!!

We had an ok brunch here recently. We didn't have a reservation but got there right when it opened at 11. We were the first people there, but without a reservation they were hesitant to sit us, which I understand. They were "out of high chairs" but were able to sit us in a booth as long as we were done by 12:30. The food was ok. The deviled eggs were a good appetizer. The Texas Twinkies and chicken and waffles had good flavor. The service was good. There's plenty of seating in the restaurant, patio and bar area. I would suggest a reservation, although in the hour we were there, several people were seated without reservations because of several "no shows." We would be back to try dinner or a cocktail, but not with our daughter. Too

Great date night spot. I had the bacon burger. Perfect. Fries were crispy and outstanding as well. My wife had the Reuben sandwich. Also a winner. Cocktails were tasty and reasonably priced as well. Ambiance was ol' school retro as was the music. Really nice. Check it out, y'all!

This delightful new place has charm, kitsch, and warmth. Just what the neighborhood needed. Fresh cocktails, tasty and creative bites, and lovely people making sure all is well. We planned on a couple of cocktails, but had to get a couple more, so the natural thing was to get some brisket stuffed, jalapeños wrapped in bacon, mushroom side, mashed potato side, and bacon hamburger. The place is understated cool and just the place to unwind after a long day. Happy hour is a few bucks off drinks so that's fun. Definitely will be back. We met the owner so that was fun. Nice guy.

Tl;dr: We showed up for dinner without a reservation - food, drinks, service, and ambiance were all great, plenty of parking in the rear with rear entrance. Highly recommend. After coming in from the rear parking lot during the beginning of dinner rush, it took us a minute to get oriented and take in the decor as we walked through. We were then greeted by the bartender who kindly pointed us in the direction of the host(/manager?) Standing at the front entrance who, though he was taking care of other customers on the phone, was quick to acknowledge us and then seated us almost immediately right after. Our food was delicious with gemerous portions. The Southern Deviled Eggs appetizer was yummy and the arugula and pickled onion garnishes really did complement to the flavor profile and texture. For us, the bacon cheeseburger was well-seasoned and cooked just right to medium as requested. Amazingly, the Tuscan chicken sandwich was not only a nice large portion, it was almost more delicious than the cheeseburger. The matchstick fries were perfectly crispy. Also sautéed mushrooms surprise, gently seasoned with a generous sharable portion. Cocktails were nicely balanced in taste and alcohol, tried the Spicy Margarita, the Mezcal Paloma, Jessica's Rabbit, and the Blackberry 76. They put the perfect amount of Tajin on my Tajin rim for my margarita (and my paloma, by request). Our server Stephanie (hopefully spelled right) was polite and we could tell she made an effort to make sure we had a good experience. Ambiance was very interesting, lots of cool paintings to look at on the walls, even in the bathrooms - a toilet with a lid to close for more optimal sanitation and their provision of nice, thick paper towels and the addition of some Listerine type mouthwash with tiny disposable cups suggests their attention to detail. It's cozy in a good way, music choice was enjoyable (walked in with Bohemian Rhapsody playing lol) - it was a suitable place for a date night though it was occasionally slightly hard to hear my dinner partner over the music. Obviously, I really enjoyed my visit and definitely plan on coming back for another visit to try some more of their offerings.
