Wow! What a gem in the heart of Dallas. Let me first start off by saying I am vegitarian and gluten free and someone who appreciates quality food over quantity. Well Maya's checked all my boxes and more. The menu was easy to follow and offered delicious options for any person. I ordered the mixed plate appetizer with amazing sauces and fresh veggies. For the main dish I ordered the Mixed salad with Cauliflour steak! It was amazing and the portion was so big I took half home for another meal. My friend with me ordered the Chicken Pita and he loved it as well. As a plus, I met the owner Russell, and I thanked him for making such good healthy food. His eyes lit up and he shared with me how important quality is to his resaurant and how they tried 10 different organic olive oils to make sure the picked the BEST for their menu. His passion for quality and service showed off as he shared some of his methods and ingredients he uses. Well I am a huge fan and highly recommend everyone to try this high quality fast casual establishment! PS. He is opening another location on Arapaho and Hilcrest and I will definently go there since I live in Frisco. Enjoy!

Having passed by Maya's regularly for several year I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Located in Casa Linda Shopping Center, Maya's offerers its owner's own take on Mediterranean cuisine. I had the beef plate with a generous serving, delicately seasoned. Tabbouleh and babaganoush were the sides. I also got an order of falafel with tzatziki sauce. One pita was included. My friend had the roast chicken pita and cauliflower rice. Everything was delicious and filling. Service was helpful and patient carefully explaining to menu items to my friend, a first- timer to Mediterranean food. Ambience is basic and non pretentious. Outside seating looked comfortable and perfect for some Texas days. Maya's Modern Mediterranean is a small gem and worthy of its reputation. Certainly worth a second (and third) visit.

My favorite place for a healthy and quick service meal. I personally love the honey chicken with their rice, cauliflower, and/or the salad on the side. The garlic sauce is fabulous! Great place and very consistent. Also, easy to find parking

I had delivered it was raining and didn't feel like going out, delivered on time and the flavors were good but that where it stopped. It was cold and beef kabobs and salmon were dry and overcooked. Our soup was not in and we paid extra for all of the add ons. I don't think I'll be ordering again I was disappointed

I've been to Maya's Modern Mediterranean at least two more times since my first visit, and unfortunately, I have to knock down my rating one star. The restaurant seems to be a bit inconsistent, which I feel comfortable saying because I've ordered the same exact meal each time. Each visit, the air-fried falafel is either a bit over-cooked and dry or like my latest visit, it was undercooked and chewy. The roasted cauliflower was a bit on the greasy side during my last visit too. This all being said, the restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly.

It's nice to have a healthyish, and affordable choice in the neighborhood. My standard is the chicken shawarma with lemon sauce, Israeli salad, and tabouli, which is delicious when it's good, but I have found it to sometimes be inconsistent. The chicken can be so dry that it's literally like wood chips or toothpicks that get lodged between your teeth. Now, whenever I order, I actually ask them to make sure that it's not dry, and it's solved my problem. Interestingly, I mentioned it to the manager, and he said that some people request the crunchy version. Strange, but okayyy. I also have to call out the chicken soup, which is unbeatable on an icy or sick day. I've been to Maya's many times, and like I said the good is very good. I really hope not to get defensive feedback to my honest review, because that would be disappointing.

10 out of 10 if I were able to score this place.Iraq vet whom hates public places or crowds ; but love mediterranean food. The ambience to which was given was completely positive; as if it were straight out of a 1990s cookbook of welcoming warmth! The food is beyond imaginable. The salmon was so on point I literally cannot go anywhere else and expect better in the area.Their sauces are so fire I literally have to call my friends that live in the area JUST TO tell them to bring their families here. You will definitely have a smile on your face; before , during, and after your exchange at this restaurant. The falafel here is actually moist as can be; not any bit dry and WOWW Do they KNOW how to properly prepare REAL hummus. . This food made us feel GOOD About our bodies that we're taking time before the 80 mile hike back home into North Texas to go on a stroll in the park near by with our baby boy!

Let me save you some time, money, and sheer humiliation: DO NOT eat at or cater from Maya's Modern Mediterranean. Ever. This place is an absolute travesty, and I'm convinced the owner, Russell, must live in an alternate reality where burnt, inedible garbage qualifies as "Mediterranean food." I hired them to cater my wife's baby shower, and what they delivered wasn't just bad--it was a complete culinary catastrophe. Russell assured me that I "wouldn't be disappointed." Not only was I disappointed, but I'm actively disgusted--and every single one of our guests were, too. Imagine having people at the baby shower whispering that the food is the worst Mediterranean food they've ever eaten. Yeah, that's the level of embarrassment we're talking about.Let's get to the specifics because the devil is in the disgusting details. The portion sizes? Way off. We ordered enough to feed our guest list, and what we received wouldn't have satisfied a pack of feral cats. And the beef kabobs? I wouldn't even serve them to my dog. They were overcooked, burnt to a crisp, and straight-up looked like dog shit. No exaggeration--just charred, shriveled lumps of misery that somehow managed to taste even worse than they looked. It was almost impressive how they managed to ruin something as simple as kabobs. Now, onto the professionalism--or rather, lack thereof. After the disaster, I confronted Russell, who at least pretended to take responsibility. We agreed on a refund amount, and he told me he'd mail a check. Guess what? Weeks later, no check. No response. Russell has completely ghosted me, proving just how unprofessional and shady this establishment truly is.This isn't just bad food--it's an outright scam. Russell and Maya's Modern Mediterranean ruined what should have been a beautiful, joyful day, and I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. If you value your money, your time, and your dignity, stay far, far away from this place. It's not just bad--it's offensive.

The most delicious party food ever! I ordered an 8-10 family style and there was plenty for everyone. The color-filled buffet was exceptional. This was the second time I ordered food for a larger crowd and the customer service went above and beyond to accommodate my request!
