Five of us enjoyed high tea at Mary's Rose Garden today. It was a wonderful experience. The service is excellent. The owner, Paul, made us feel very special. The food was delicious. I can't wait to return with friends to share this overall delightful experience. I highly recommend it for lunch, just coffee or dessert or high tea. And being located inside of "Painted Tree" is icing on the cake!

There is something about afternoon tea that makes my heart do a happy dance. You need to make an appointment a day in advance for the tea service. I couldn't figure out how to do it online so I did in person but I'm assuming you could call or email. The cafe is inside of Painted Tree. Painted Tree is filled with pretty decorations and gifts. The cafe is on the left hand side of the store and has an outdoor seating area. The afternoon tea was cute and delicious, and the service was very friendly. I thought it was completed with savory, scones, and fruits...then they brought me another plate full of desserts! You can have cafe menu items without making an appointment, and I saw some wine bottles so I guess you can have a brunch with a glass or two as well.

Absolutely recommend the High Tea at Mary's, they make almost everything in house, fresh cucumber sandwiches, fresh warm scones with cream and jam, chicken salad sandwich and the homemade quiche were particularly delicious, and then they brought out a dessert plate, and wow the mini chocolate pie was spectacular but the real standout for me was the strawberries and cream sandwich with homemade sweet pumpkin bread. The service was also amazing, the super sweet staff was willing to walk though all the little things they served and patiently answered questions.
