Marshall Creek Ranch

Yesterday was absolutely unforgettable! I checked off a lifelong bucket list item: riding a horse. Marshall Creek Ranch turned my dream into reality. We rode along serene trails and ended up beside a beautiful lake. We saw numerous deer that didn't even spook the horses. It was so peaceful hearing nature up close and personal. The ranch patiently provided us with training before taking us out. By far, the best time of my life! The horses were so calm The staff were so gentle and really helped us first time riders feel at ease, making our horseback riding a therapeutic experience.

My friend took me here for my birthday and it was a blast! The ladies were so friendly and helpful-- we went on an intermediate ride with Summer and Lindsey and they were great! The views were gorgeous and such a fun and relaxing experience. If you've never trotted or even ridden a horse before, the staff helps everyone know what theyre doing to set you up for a fun and safe ride. Highly recommend- will be going back! 10/10

We booked a group ride 12/27/2021 and thoroughly enjoyed a 90 minute adventure along the shores of beautiful Lake Grapevine. Our chaperones (the staff at Marshall Creek Ranch) did a great job of coaching, guiding and encouraging us along the way. We loved it! This is a true Texas experience and a terrific way to pursue some out of the ordinary team bonding. Pro tip: ask for and secure an email in writing from the admin staff at Marshall Creek Ranch re: your group ride as soon as possible to minimize questions, clarify expectations, confirm #s / costs, etc. Solid recommendation!

I thought the trail ride was beautiful and the horses were really calm! I love that there are beginner intermediate and advanced levels to choose from. Definitely makes the trail ride more exciting to be able to do more than a walk and/or trot. Though the trot was plenty for me! Haha!! The trail was the perfect length and time and we were able to see some pretty cool wildlife! The guides were great and helpful too. I loved it and loved the horses. TIP: Don't wear skinny jeans and low socks though..the stirrups rubbed against my ankle when we trotted. Not the best feeling! Ouch.

Every year my best friend and I take eachother horseback riding for our birthdays. Wanting an experience more than just a normal trail ride, I looked at all of the ranches near by to see what they offered. I found Marshall Creek Ranch & signed us up for a private ride. Best. Idea. Ever! Our guide, Summer, was fantastic! Not only did she show us a beautiful trail, but she also helped us with our riding and gave us great pointers. Super friendly staff, beautiful horses, and great scenery! Highly highly recommend. We will be back every year to celebrate!

We went for the Valentines Day ride and had an amazing time! All the staff was nice and very helpful. Cash only so be sure to get some in advance!

Me and my husband use to ride horses there ones a week ...we stopped going there after a new girl started working there name Vanessa...she need to keep it more professional...she telling my husband that she has no green card and needs a better job....ask him for his personal number ...he is like ask my wife if she will like that me giving you my personal number... just be careful ladies she's sneaky and will hit on your husband ...unbelievable ....Vanessa needs to be more professional ....we will never go back unless she was not working there anymore....

Nothing but excellent things to say about this ranch! Everyone was so nice. We were in town for the weekend and decided to go for an intermediate level ride. We had such a great time and Julie was awesome! Definitely recommend

Wonderful experience. We were able to book the week of for a Friday evening ride. The scenery was gorgeous and the ride was a good length for a beginner.
