Marianas Taco Shop

I have been coming here for a while but keep forgetting to do a review. The good news is I always get the same thing so this review can cover them all. This is a great independent little taco shop in the heart of downtown Frisco. They mostly have outside seating on the patio and where i prefer to sit but you do need to plan your weather with your visitI like their food since it is the closest to my So. Cal Mexican food. The chimichanga is nice and crispy on the outside with a very tasty shredded chicken on the inside. The rice is always fluffy and the beans are solid!! I always get an extra side of sour cream to dump on it. If you are in the area i highly suggest you stop by!!

Tacos are tasty and i would come back for more. The seating is exterior with the green, it was a nice lunch.

2024 Yelp 100 Challenge - #33A local taco shop serving up delicious eats. Customer Service is top tier and food is made to order. I ordered three bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos, and one potato taco. I'm not a huge fan of eggs, so I will order my breakfast tacos wit light eggs (personal preference) but they were every delicious.

I absolutely love the chips and salsa here! I don't love that you have to pay for it. One of the best things about Mexican restaurants is the free chips. I had the beef taco plate which was good, but I was expecting ground meat rather than chunks of beef. It's a tiny and cozy little place with just a few seats inside but they do have outdoor patio seating. Parking is a little odd here since the lot they are located on is parking for another facility so it's street parking only. This is one of those places where you go to the counter and order, but they do bring out your food. They get pretty busy during lunch time too so go early! Overall, I would go back to try something new for sure.

pass this place on the way to church and it always seems busy, so we stopped one day on our way home. my mom ordered a burrito, I ordered three tacos on flour tortillas and we ordered queso to share. Everything was good, but once I made it home, I noticed my tacos were on corn tortillas. I was up charged for flour, so I called to be refunded, and there's no way to get ahold of the restaurant. Their phone was set to go straight to voicemail and the mailbox is full.

Legit, real Mexican food. Decent selection of tacos, Mexican coke and sprite, good red and green salsa. Outdoor seating only. They struggle to keep when they get a little busy because it's so small, but they always come through. Just be patient. Worth checking out if you want authentic tacos.

I truly believe they have the best breakfast tacos around; they're absolutely delicious! However, I was a bit disappointed with the Carne Asada tacos as they seemed to lack flavor. The service was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. The place tends to be quite busy, with limited seating inside and most seating available outside. This can be a bit challenging during the hot summer months.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant!! It came highly suggested by friends but I thought the food was just decent.Ambiance: There is mostly seating outdoors on a bench type seat and table. There are a few high top chairs inside the restaurant. There is a low music level and bright lighting inside the restaurant. The staff was very accommodating and helpful when ordering.Chicken Chimichanga: The burrito had a very nice and crispy fried outside. But the inside of the burrito was nothing spectacular. It just tasted like an overload of refried beans and a little bit of shredded chicken. The flavor profile was not very high as it just tasted like a bean burrito. However, the salsa that came with the meal did help a little bit. The salsa was very spicy though so I couldn't put too much.Overall, the food is good but there is just not much contrast in the flavor and it ends up just tasting like an overloaded bean burrito.

YUM! This place is a hidden gem- the pastor taco is the best... so juicy. Cant wait to come back! Would love if there was outdoor music playing!

Very close to west cost Mexican which is very rare in Texas. Very nice staff and the have places to eat inside and out. Will definitely be going back!
