Love this place. Have been to many across the south and southeast so was thrilled to see this location pop up. The Five and Dime is where it's at (pictured below) -- eggs, cheese, chicken, sausage gravy -- it's massive and unbelievably delicious. Add in a fresh squeezed OJ and you're a Golden God. Service and ambiance are top notch. Don't miss it!

1000% recommend this place! I've been to several locations one in SC and this local one I had no idea existed. Both had great chicken biscuits w gravy. I would definitely go back! I think more people in Dallas need to be aware of this place bc it's kind of hidden in this small shopping center. My kids didn't like the waffles bc they had chocolates in them. They like simple waffles nothing fancy. But other than that everything is so good! I have it in my list of places to return to for sure!

My wife and I came here with her co-worker, who found this breakfast spot for us while they're in town for a work conference. When you walk in, there are menus available at the entrance, and more are at the register in case you missed one.It wasn't too busy this morning, but the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.I ordered the Retro, and my wife went for the Keto with apple cinnamon waffles. The atmosphere is very open, and while the A/C was a bit chilly, it makes sense with the large windows. I can imagine how hot it gets during the Texas summer. The food was amazing! My biscuit and jam were delicious, and though my mini hash browns were a little over-fried, it wasn't a big deal for me.The orange juice is freshly squeezed not the processed stuff you get at most places. There's some pulp in it, so if you're not a fan, you might want to ask if they offer a pulp-free option.

Food is good. I had tacos. Very good. Maybe a bit less potatoes but otherwise, solid tacos. Buddy had biscuit and gravy. He said they were good but the gravy a bit thick and cold. Coffee ok but cold. Cold? Why were things cold? Because inside it is frigid. You have to wear your coat. And because of the cold, food gets cold. We were there on a day when outside was mildly cold so it wasn't the outside making it cold inside. They simply had it set too cold. I might go back but will wait until spring so I could eat outside, unless they moderate their inside temperature.

Came here on a weekday close to opening and had a great experience! The place is clean, service is great, and a lot of the drinks are self service!

Well they didn't change the place much, it used to be super chicks. I think. The AC feels great, but it's blasting so you might want to bring your sweater. The food came out quick and looked good, but my biscuit was very tough and the bacon looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. Oh well, I might try them again?

I really wanted to love this place, but the experience was a hit and miss for me. They have a cute set up indoors and their order process is easy and quick. Their menu is pretty simple by providing some breakfast classics however, on the upside provides an interesting combo worth trying. Overall, the one thing they have a 5-star rating is the biscuit, very well made and love that they make them fresh every day!Our mimosas were overly sweet and took forever to get to the table. It was kind of funny how we were halfway through our meal by the time they arrived to our table! I ordered the bluegrass grits bowl: Hominy Grits, Pecanwood Bacon, Egg, Green Onions, Cheddar & Hot Sauce. The grits were pretty bland which is normal and clearly the main portion of the bowl, however, I'm thinking they leave that up to the customer. I am only assuming this because they have quiet the hot sauce selection, I asked for more cheese and hot sauce to be able to finish a little more of the grits. I would order it again; I would like to see how it would go with their sausage meatball instead of bacon and possibly adding a sweetness flavor combo next. 2nd Order was the Firebird: Fried Chicken Strips, Hot Buffalo Sauce, Cheddar Tomato Spinach & Scratch Buttermilk Ranch all of this was made very well and it was a big portion. I love a good ranch, and this was so good with the perfectly season chicken strip that was fried perfectly leaving the chicken still tender. Overall, I would return to try out another item!

I went here because I heard hearings about it; however it appears their menu was abbreviated. I had the chicken strips which were good with a biscuit. The service was great. I will try the full restaurant experience. The juice was freshly squeezed which I enjoyed.
