Manpuku Japanese BBQ Dining - Dallas

I have been to the Manpuku restaurants in Tokyo, and the food, drinks and service at the Dallas location were excellent and at the same level as the Tokyo location, which did not disappoint. The atmosphere was much better in Dallas than in Tokyo.My family is also a big fan of this restaurant.I'll be back soon.

The food was delicious! My family of 3 ordered the prime tasting and it was enough food for all of us. My favorite was the spicy miso and the fried noodles. They also have cocktails here. Our waiter was lovely. I will definitely be back for more

Manpuku is very fancy. It sets itself with a high class atmosphere, dim lighting, and neatly uniformed waiters/waitresses. It's the perfect place to bring a date if you want to impress and I'm pretty sure the couple next to us on their first date would agree. Had one of the omakase tastings and everything was delicious. It was a lot of food and a good portion of the food was not the BBQ meat itself. It was almost too much food. As expected for this type of restaurant, it is quite pricy for what you get and given the ratio of meat to price, it felt a little exorbitant. If I had to change something, I would say that we should have opted for a la carte as a lot of the fullness came from the side meals rather than the meat itself. Probably not a place I would go out of my way to go to again but I certainly enjoyed my experience.

Unforgettable Japanese BBQ!Manpuku's Signature Tasting menu is an absolute beauty, offering a stunning array of meats. The highlight of the show was undoubtedly the Wagyu Short Rib. Also, loved the assorted 4 piece tasting that we received from the chef.Beyond the food, Manpuku boasts attentive and knowledgeable service that ensures a seamless dining experience. If you're looking for a solid Japanese BBQ experience in Dallas, Manpuku is your spot. However, it is definitely on the pricer side (hence the 4 stars) so would save this for a special occasion so if you're craving Japanese bbq for better value Gyu-Kaku is the move.

I'm sad to say my review of this place has changed since my first experience, but I feel this opinion is likely shared by others as the restaurant used to be packed and is now only a few tables at a time. I think their has been changes made resulting in decreased quality. I want to start by saying our server was FANTASTIC, but the food was not near the caliber it used to be. Additionally, we had an issue with our food that had to be addressed by management and I felt that the employees impacted by the complaint seemed annoyed after the fact. All in all, I hope they are able to get back to their previous food & service levels, but until then, I will not likely be returning.

Been 3 times and every time it has been incredible. Love the atmosphere and is a nice cozy place for the winter. Food tastes amazing and is well priced for the amount of meat you get. Great bar too!

Absolutely amazing food and service. Hitting all the key points:Drinks: they have a great patio and bar. I'm not sure why it isn't packed 24/7 if I'm honest. The prices are good and they have some really tasty cocktails (try the raspberry lychee martini - my husband quickly downed two). They don't short you on the alcohol either.Food: the beef is next level. I've literally had fresh-on-the-ranch beef and this is that level. The lowest grade that they serve is prime (which is the highest grade in the US). They get A5 flown in from Japan, which is really hard to get (I didn't even think Japan allowed export of A5). It comes with a certificate and all. We also had chicken and shrimp (both also imported from Japan) and it's all delicious. The difference in quality is actually perceptible. As a random other high note: the fried rice. It's not just your run-of-the-mill fried rice. They make it at the table and the garlic gives it some extra oomph. We did the prix fixe of the $75 menu and added an order of A5. They portions were generous and we were very full (and took food home)Dessert: we had the yogurt. It was good, but I was honestly too full to eat it all. Service: the staff were really lovely and the manager came out and spoke with us and answered a lot of my questions. We will definitely be back.

Came here to try out their American Wagyu tasting. It came with a good amount of food items but in the end I wasn't full. Appetizers were decent. The corn, garlic shrimp and salad. Soup was really good. It had a lot of flavor, tender meat and good tofu. The wagyu meats were good but nothing blew me away. Many weren't seasoned that well. They only tasted good with their sweet brown sauce. The amount of meat given wasn't that much for 2 people. We also enjoyed some delicious cocktails they offered. We had the saketini and the lychee martini. The final dessert was the strawberry parfait and we really loved it. Service was really good. They were attentive and explained everything well. Food and drinks came out at a reasonable pace. Overall I wouldn't come back because of the amount of meats given for the price and the lack of flavor they had.

This restaurant was AMAZING! Not only was the staff super friendly and knowledgeable but the food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I got miso soup, gyoza, garlic noodles, Prime Miso Skirt Steak, and Kobe Ribeye. The sauce on the miso skirt steak was crazy good and had some sweetness. Both cuts of meet were super tender and only took 30-45 seconds on each side to cook. The garlic noodles are a MUST order. They pair super well with the meat. They also serve the meat with a dipping sauce that is sweet and savory. We also each ordered a cocktail. I ordered the akasaka raspberry lychee martini and my husband got the ebisu highball. Both were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a fun and cozy date night or for an experience with friends.

My friend and I came here for the first time and had an incredible meal in a beautiful, calming atmosphere. We did the prefix and each course was really delicious. Had to add the octopus balls and they were amazing. The standout was the Matcha Martini, so deliciously creamy and balanced with quality matcha green tea. Never had a matcha martini before and now Manpuku's is my new go to drink.
