What a treat to bring to this town... I was fortunate enough to get an invite to the opening... walked in with a greeting and a smiling face... had a look at the menu... was overwhelmed with too many great options... l ended up choosing the chicken parm on fresh focaccia bread and a side salad! Everything was fantastic!! The friendly staff checked in on me multiple times during my dining experience, once I was finished offered me dessert that I didn't know I NEEDED! The limoncello butter cake was out of this world!! I am so excited to put this restaurant on the map! I will be back!!

Had such a great first experience at Mangiamo for lunch today. My wife and I tried out two of their sandwiches, the chicken Milanese on focaccia and the classic Italian. The chicken Milanese is a chicken parm style sandwich with arugula dressed with a creamy pesto. This was an amazing sandwich and actually better than sandwiches from Jimmy's in Dallas. The Italian was great also, the highlight was the house made Italian dressing mixed in with lettuce on top. We sat by their pizza oven and will be trying those on our next visit. Looks like some great New York style crust and fresh toppings. Must try when in Celina.

Waiting for my food as I'm writing this... The pizza better be the best I've had in my life as our 30-35 minute timeframe is approaching an hour... stay tuned for updatesOkay update after eating:Spicy mama sub 5/5 - pretty goodProsciutto pizza 2.5/5 - average at bestChicken Alfredo Pasta 1.5/5 - definitely well below average and very bland Maybe my expectations were too high... maybe the wait time killed it... I think overall 3/5 is a fair assessment. Everything was mid

So happy this place finally opened. Mangiamo brings an amazing Italian market and restaurant to the Celina downtown area. The Italian sandwich and the pizza are some of the best we've had in Texas; they could compete with places in the northeast for sure. It's a family run business and we met one of the owners while we were there. Everyone was really nice and the service was excellent. There's also a small market area that sells Italian dry goods like pasta, oil, sauce, etc. We will be back for sure.

This place is amazing! Atmosphere and service is outstanding. Plenty of helpful staff to help you navigate the menu and provide great service. It's larger inside than it looks and it was very busy on a Saturday at lunch. My wife and I had two sandwiches, both excellent, you can get them in full or half and half is plenty. Salads also look good, and they have small shop area for unique Italian food and wine. We will be back weekly.

Great time sitting outside at Mangiamo! This place makes you feel like you're at home. I got the crispy chicken Parmesan and it was so crunchy and delicious! My only complaint is to add more sauce to it. I also got the mushroom fettuccine which I love!! Mushrooms are my favorite so it was a must!

This place is an absolute dream! I only wish I had one in my hometown because if I did, I'd be there all the time. Every bite I had was incredible--truly like a little taste of heaven.I ordered the Herb Chicken Alfredo, and while I usually avoid heavy cream dishes, this one completely won me over. The flavors were rich yet balanced, with perfectly cooked chicken and asparagus. It wasn't heavy at all, and I felt amazing after eating it.I'm also not typically a sandwich person, but I tried the Spicy Mama and wow--it was bursting with flavor! It completely changed my perspective on sandwiches. Then, on another visit, I had a slice of my friend's Big Pig pizza, and let's just say... mind blown! This place has officially ruined me for other restaurants. The flavors are on par with what you'd expect from a top-tier spot in New York. And the meatballs? I don't even have words to do them justice! To top it all off, it's a family-owned restaurant--their first one--and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. A grand slam! This place is truly something special.Do yourself a favor--grab a group of the people you love most and head over. Make sure everyone orders something different, share everything, and then raise a glass, say Salute!, and shout Mangiamo!--let's eat!

We ordered the chicken milanese and chicken parmesan sra. sandwiches. Five stars all the way. The focaccia bread and steaming chicken made the sandwiches. It took quite awhile to get our sandwiches, but I learned the restaurant had only been open for a month and a week. They were probably still working out kinks, and they were busy as heck. The owner was very friendly, and I verified that he's Italian! You can't find that often in Texas.

I was able to try five of the entrées as well as four of the flavors of soda on the machine. All around, it was a good experience and the atmosphere is great. I really enjoyed the service and I don't think that there was any issues with providing service at a efficient rate as well as with kindness and great timing on meal preparation as well as providing assistance with presenting the food. Time management is great here. All the food tasted great but there were some comments of some salt that was needed. Regardless of salt, this is the best sandwich north of Frisco, Texas that I have experienced so far and the exclusive opportunity given to townsman to try all these foods speaks volumes on their desire to is get this food out on the market. The undercarriage: In terms spoken from, (Mr. one bite everybody knows the rules.)- The undercarriage needs more time."Some may call him a legend some, but some say he's a guy who enjoys bending the rules on the one bite per rating. If you've read this long, you've read too much and you should just go get some food.Solid (4.8). It didn't knock my socks off, but it does make me want to come back for more!
