Finally made it to this amazing place! After two previous reservations I couldn't keep, today we finally enjoyed a lovely brunch--and it was absolutely worth the wait. The atmosphere is so warm, charming, and undeniably Instagrammable! The drinks were delightful, and I ordered the short rib Benedict. It was incredible--tender meat that melts in your mouth, seasoned just right to let the beef's natural flavor shine. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the potatoes were seasoned to perfection. I couldn't get enough!Service was perfect- Thank you! What a wonderful experience!I will defintly be back for dinner one day for sureA

Very cute spot! Definitely a place you go with your girls. Super busy, so make sure you have a reservation or you will be waiting. The drinks are mehh, over priced and did not seem to be made with fresh ingredients. The espresso martini tasted like it was made with cold brew coffee instead of espresso. The appetizers.. delicious! The whipped eggplant was the best thing I tasted all night. The Caesar was perfect, the dressing had the right amount of bite to it. The entree sizing was off.. was not anything like the pictures. I was thrown off by the child like portion I received for the shrimp pasta, not to mention there where crunchy bits all through out which was very different. The lemon sauce was bitter, was not edible. The other girls got the short rib pasta and the lobster pasta, both were great. My only complaint is very little meat, where was the lobster?Service was good, not great, not bad. It's a cute spot, unfortunately, I think it's one of those cute trendy spots that have popped up lately.

Ok I'm sorry boos, but this place is only giving aesthetics and the entrees were a disappointment. Apps and drinks were good tho pricey!FOOD:* Crispy Brussels with Yogurt Aioli, Pistachios,Pomegranate, Dates - Absolute 10/10* Truffle Carbonara with Shrimp - My sister enjoyed it, but honestly it so simple for the price. The shrimp was an add-on and it was just thrown on like at a hospital vs actually incorporated into the meal.* Chicken Piccata - Mama actually liked this and it was the most flavorful of the bunch. * Lobster Cannelloni - It was good, but wayyyyy too much oil even for an Italian meal. I split this meal up into daysss to avoid consuming that much oil in one sitting. * Rosewood Ranch Wagyu Bavette Steak - My simple non-picky husband even thought this was too blah. The steak itself needed some more love and the mashed potatoes were not giving anything. Not even a garnish lol. * Hazelnut Heaven - This was good. They don't do complimentary desserts for occasions FYI. Gone are those days during Inflation I guess lol. DRINKS:* The Lyla* Santorini Sunset* Prince Sebastian* Peach No Party (Mocktail)Overall, I believe if Lyla is focused on being an upscale Mediterranean/ Coastal Italian style restaurant, then they should refocus their efforts onto the cuisine. I did see a lot of younger folks eating there and I can see how the aesthetics are playing into it, but let's elevate the taste for everyone. Drinks were great and so were the Brussels!! I need that same energy for the entrees please. ALSOOO, our waiter, Anderson, was just emotionless and kept trying to push us to upgrade our meals, order more drinks etc to increase the tab. If you're gonna do that, then at least have be charming about it. He laughed once...at the end when it was time for the check.

Lyla is a coastal italian restaurant in Dallas that is well known for its picturesque aesthetics. The ambiance lived up to the hype and was perfect for a date night or evening gathering with friends. Overall, I thought the food was good but not great. We enjoyed the whipped egg plant as an appetizer then split the spaghetti bolognese and the truffle pepperoni pizza. I thought the pizza was great but that the pasta was ok. The service here was also just ok. Overall, I enjoyed going to Lyla but am not going to be quick to return.

The ambiance was amazing! We got truffle pizza, the fig pizza and the ordocelli pasta. All were so flavorful and filling! The pasta was the highlight. Service was a bit slow but our waitress was so sweet!

I come here occasionally for my "table for 1" kind of nights. The ambiance is really nice and makes me feel like I'm on vacation! Menu is all around good, just wish the main entrees had some more oomph to them! Truffle fries are delicious and always a must for me :)

Lyla was pretty good!! We got their whipped eggplant and burrata to start. I loveeeeeeed the whipped eggplant but thought the burrata was nothing special. For entrees we split spicy orecchiette pasta and Caesar salad. The salad was delish and the croutons were fun. The pasta was great, good heat and perfectly cooked noodles. The ambiance is very cute in there! Sadly we didn't love any of the drinks we got... their martinis are tiny (not even filled to the top of the glass) and we couldn't taste any alcohol in it which is shocking for a martini. Thought it was an expensive drink for what we got.

I got lyla delivered and visited lyla couple months ago for happy hour so this was their dinner menu. I got the two most expensive pizzas on their dinner menu u and i must say.... Disappointed!!I had the Margherita pizza for their happy hour which was also not the best compared to other restaurants like pizzana and leela's but it was good. These two were okay, i reheated it to make sure i tasted it fresh and hot but all i saw was alot of oil/grease - something i would see from dominos or pizzahut. And for paying $50 for two pizzas before tax, tip & delivery fees - heavily disappointed. The ricotta, short rib meat and truffle oil were barely there. Cant talk about ambiance and service on this post as it was delivered but i might not give this place another shot unless it's different items from the menu.

Starting off the rating of the food , it was all freshly made very good!, however the portions didn't fit the cost at all. I also had the grilled shrimp in which I devoured before taking a picture.. Service was good , our server did an amazing job on explaining the choices on the menu. Ambiance' nice it's small gives you a feel of a nice small Italian restaurant on the cobblestone of a Mexican village with a tropical setting. Parking you pay for in which I feel you shouldn't if I'm in your establishment already patronizing..Will I go again, yes just if I'm in the mood for something light and refreshing and a taste for a different special cocktail. But this place is definitely overpriced for the portions you receive..
