How did I not know this place was so close? It's been here since July 2015, and I can't believe this is the first time I've been there. Thank goodness was for Yelp. The food, ambiance, and service were excellent. I had the T2 breakfast sandwich, and it was one of, if not THE, best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I ordered the eggs over-medium for that gooey experience that so few restaurants can get right. They were spot on. My wife got breakfast tacos, and they were also amazing. Their salsa is spicy and very flavorful - which is something most Mexican restaurants can't seem to get right. The tacos were pretty big, so she ended up taking one home. Overall, this will be our go-to for brunch. The mimosa carafe was very-well proportioned, and we enjoyed talking with the manager while we enjoyed the last part of the carafe. She was very helpful, and we can't wait to come back. We'll try lunch and dinner and maybe some take home. The dishes they have on the display cases are beautiful, and we're going to try the sampler platter next

It had been a hot minute but... I went back! And, it still is all the buzz in the community. They have soup, sandwiches, salads and pre-made pick me ups. I recently met a friend for lunch where I tried their Caesar Salad and fresh Strawberry Limeade. Both, were delicious!! So delicious that I actually craved a pick up order the next day where I ordered a Chicken Panini sandwich. If dining in, you can snag a table inside or outside. There's lots of seating options. Either way, you'll have great service and great food! Will I be going back?Clearly, yes. ;D

Before tip our cost was 62.24 for lunch for 3 people, 2 teas and a water. The food was okay. Go early or late to avoid the lunch crowds. They do have outside seating. The salad was really wet with dressing if we go back I'll ask for it on the side. The Cuban was the favorite of the day.

Delicious food, fast service and great selection of desserts. The only reason I couldn't give a 5th star is the fact that the restaurant ventilation was poor so you smell like food after your meal. I recommend getting a table outside if possible.

This cozy Fort Worth spot makes me think of a European bistro. Inside you'll order at the counter (which is filled with beautiful dishes to behold) amongst lots of hustle and bustle. The line for ordering seems to be in the most inconvenient spot, but other than that, this restaurant is warm and welcoming with wooden tables adorned with tiny vases of fresh cut flowers. There's also a decent sized, shaded, wrap-around outdoor patio with more tables than I expected. Recently in pretty weather we sat at a little bistro table for two out front. The menu is all things homemade and seasonal. Pretty pastries, beautiful salads and sandwiches, soul-warming soups of the day, rotating fresh made sides like roasted veggies, macaroni and cheese, tuna/pasta/chicken salads, and fresh fruit. An assortment of entrees (pot pies, enchiladas, rice pilaf, meatloaf, etc.) perfect for dining in or taking home. My last lunch here was the salad and 1/2 sandwich combo. I had the Pimento Cheese BLT on gluten free toast with the wedge salad. When I tell you I ate every bite... the wedge is soooo cold and crispy with tons of blue cheese crumbles and crunchy walnuts. And the house-made pimento cheese is delicious with just a tiny bit of heat and tons of flavor. I always look forward to coming here because I know anything I get will be fresh and filling. 100% recommend!

Went in on a Thursday around 10:30am as some of us wanted breakfast and some lunch. They let us order from both menus. The staff was super friendly and walked us through all their options. It was a bit overwhelming with amazing things to choose from - the bakery side, the deli side. So much to look at! Our lunch was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their food as well as the garlic fries we shared. I didn't have time to shop that day but went back the next and shopped the deli to go and bakery. The chicken salad is creamy and tasty. The Cesar Brussels are good - for me I wanted a little more Cesar flavor but they were still good. The Mexican street corn salad was one of my favorites! I also enjoyed the beef lasagna and the sesame chicken with honey mustard. Essentially bought groceries their for the week for one person. Price wise it was 100% worth it and the food was all so tasty! I also got a Keylime tart and it was phenomenal. Was a bit busy my second visit in on a Friday around 12:30 during the holidays but the lines went quick and the staff was efficient and kind. I will definitely be visiting them more often to try more things and pick up some of my new favs! If you're looking for great home cooked items, this is the place to go.

Three of us ate hear for a late lunch. The food was very good. My only dislike was that the hamburger I ordered, the bread got soggy from all the fixings. The desserts were very good too. We will definitely return.

One of our go-to's when visiting our daughter who lives nearby. Food is still amazing, but this time our lunch order took FOREVER to get to us. It wasn't super crowded so not sure what was happening but maybe short staffed? We saw other tables before and after us experiencing the same. Overall, still very worth the wait, the mexcrunch salad is my fave and the birria taco special recently was amazing!

Local Foods Kitchen was all right, but not amazing. The carrot ginger soup was definitely the highlight--full of flavor and really well done. The seating is very close, so it's not the most spacious or private spot. Feels much more like a lunch spot than anything else.I'm giving it 3.5 stars because while the food was decent, I didn't love my sandwich. That said, I'd still go back and give it another shot--maybe try something different next time!
