I absolutely loved this place but the parking leaves something to be desired. I am not going to let the janky parking situation to interfere with what a great experience I had. First off the decor.. chef's kiss. I loved the color scheme, the art work, the bar, the furniture, down to the cute little daisy on the table. The lighting is everything. It sets this mood. Our waiter,Carlos, was to best. No need to ask because he already knew lol. So warm and friendly. The menu is French but after reading over it and finding the chef is from Louisiana I surmise that it's French Creole .. it's the slow cooked ham and collard greens of the Benedict along with the tomato purée in the hollandaise. The slow roasted chicken BLT the French toast reminded me of my granny's bread pudding. This place is so good I most definitely will be back again.

We had a weekend stayed at the Thompson and ate at Little Daisy 3xs. I will caveat, it was Valentines Day weekend, and they were not prepared for the amount of traffic they received this weekend. Service overall was slow, our first dining experience took over 45 minutes to receive our take out order. But, I had nothing but time, so it was not frustrating to me. HOWEVER, I would recommend the establishment prepare to staff up during holiday weekends in case last minute bookings come through - which is what happened! Now for the food - I had brunch here twice and dinner. The first was an order of Avocado toast with a side of smoked salmon, the second order was the Daisy omelet also with a side of salmon. The side salmon was the size of an ENTREE, a very generous portion, which I appreciated! For dinner I ordered cocktail shrimp and an espresso martini mocktail. What usually makes cocktail shrimp for me is the cocktail sauce, and it was delightful! For my mocktail, they used a non-alcoholic spirit in place of the vodka. I personally don't like the taste of vodka anyway, but the mocktail tasted like a regular espresso martini to me! Great job there!I will definitely try this restaurant again next time I visit Dallas, hopefully on a non-holiday weekend!

The Thompson is one of my go-to hotels in Dallas so dining at Little Daisy is inevitable. This charming Franco-American bistro is nestled on the ninth floor of the Thompson Dallas hotel at 1401 Elm Street. The ambiance is French and Southern. This is typically my breakfast and lunch spot. The interior of Little Daisy is both cozy and stylishThis time, I opted for the blackened fish sandwich without the bun, I was thoroughly impressed. The fish was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The staff was accommodating to my dietary preferences. #stlouispescatarianapproved

Came first thing in the morning when they opened and was the 1st customers. The restaurant has a nice vibe. I got the sourdough croque madame and husband got the pancakes. The food was good. I would think it's anything special but good.

Ambiance: 5/5 it was pretty empty for a friday night so you truly didn't even need reservations. The ceilings were beautiful and the thompson/national is very pretty as well. It is well decorated, and make sure to go outside after your meal to get a great view of downtown (especially during sunset). They also have a piano player come in at around 7? Very vibeyService: 5/5 our server was attentive and I believe since there was not that many people, we had like three different other workers/managers come by our table to make sure everything was to our liking.Food: 3/5 honestly I would not have super high expectations for food here. The oysters were not bad but definitely not the best I have ever had. Was not fishy, but definitely not sweet. Did not really taste like anything. I was recommended the gumbo, and it was also not bad but also lacking any depth of flavor. I tried my friend's bolognese and the pasta shape choice was interesting, I feel like a pappardelle would've suited it better. Again, nothing to raise home about. Not the best I've had, but not gross. The daisy dessert we got, I would recommend skipping. It's nice for pictures, but it was mid at best. All in all, I would recommend maybe coming for a drink and trying out an appetizer or two. But I think you can def get better food elsewhere.Overall: Come for the pictures and the vibe! The view outside is so pretty! Might be a nice place to get a drink before dinner, but you can get better food for the same price elsewhere. Also, there is an automatic 20% gratuity on every single bill. Even with a party of two.

Location9th floor of Thompson hotel. Mid town Dallas. ParkingValet, garageAtmosphereVery, very classy-upscale. Hyatt upscale hotel.SeatingOutdoors-pool side, tables, booths, large barServicePersonal, friendly, attentiveMenuWe had the brunch-had the corn bread eggs benedict with salmon, spinach, and a side salad instead of potatoes. Light red sauce. So rich and good-2 slices of corn bread and poached eggs. The avocado tartine-so tasty, except for the bread-a tuscan whole wheat would be better-the toppings and avocado was wonderful. there is a light mid day menu and dinner menu. Mimosa was good-not sparkly, check the wine list and order specifically. Happy hour is 5-6, Mon-Thurs. 50 cent martinis with purchase of a plate of oysters is the special. SummaryClassy roof top restaurant/ bar. Happy hour special. Great brunch. Outstanding service!

Pros: intimate dining room. Choice between a 5oz and 8oz pour of wine (bc sometimes the second glass is too much and you just want one and a half!). Great seasoning on the fries with the steak frites. I really enjoyed the pepper crust on the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Cons: the valet situation for the hotel is less than ideal. The streets are usually backed up and super busy with valet working for all the restaurants and events in the Thompson they can get really overwhelmed. The kitchen seemed to be moving slowly. However, I do understand that they recently opened and would give it another shot. Overall, it was a good experience. Warm ambiance and friendly service. I'd love to come again and enjoy the bar area and live music on another night!

After wanting to try little daisy for months I hate to say we left feeling very disappointed. The quality of the food wasn't there, there was no flavor, nothing stood out.The place is beautifully decorated and there's live music but the restaurant itself was empty on a Friday night which seemed off.We got complimentary dessert but we didn't finish it as the desserts looked pretty but tasted old.

My friends and I went to The Little Daisy to celebrate our three summer birthdays, and we left a little disappointed. The ambiance and decor are amazing! Very cute and very transportive, which I like for restaurants that go for a "theme". It was pretty empty on a Thursday night, so it was only us, a large party of 8, and people popping over at the bar throughout our two hours there. The waiters were pretty chill, it did take a time for them to come and then they'd sometimes be gone for a moment too long. Anywho, the food was the real disappointment here. We started with the truffle fries, which were good! For dinner, my friends for the brick chicken and one said it was salty and both found it to be pink near the bone and jelly like. They only noticed this in one area and it was toward the end of them finishing, thankfully, so they just sat the plate to the side. I ordered the pasta bolognese which was very interesting. There wasn't any true sauce, just the meat oil, so it became meat and pasta. The flavor of the meat was good, but I was incredibly underwhelmed. I did ask for a sauce for it and was brought more meat (in more oil) but it helped. We were given complimentary birthday desserts, which was sweet, but we didn't finish. The ice cream heavy one was very hard to cut, we couldn't use our spoons to get any and the cake just wasn't a table favorite. All in all, cute place, but we all said we'd didn't have to come back. Heads up: they do one check and with a 20% restaurant service charge on top. Only mentioning because we weren't able to find out if that goes to the server or not, so anticipate that and a tip.
