Lemmon Street Tacos

One of the last places open in the area, this spot was a welcome find after a long flight when we were craving Mexican food. The interior was vibrant and appeared clean, which gave a good first impression. We decided to pick up our order to-go, but unfortunately, we received the wrong order. They do warn you about this possibility, which made me wonder if it's a common occurrence.As for the food, the chorizo tacos were okay but a bit greasy. The birria tacos were very flavorful, with tender beef, though my wife found them a little too spicy for her taste. The trompo tacos were solid and enjoyable. Overall, while the food was decent, this wouldn't be my go-to spot during regular hours. However, I'd come back if it was late and nothing else was open.

Since I was in Dallas the two things I need to get while in Texas are tacos and BBQ. I always love a great Mexican breakfast, especially tacos and burritos, so I stopped in here around 7AM one morning. They have a nice menu, loaded with lots of appetizing Mexican treats, including breakfast tacos. They'll make then with corn or flour tortillas too. I ordered a couple chorizo breakfast tacos. They took about 5 minutes to make and came out piping hot. They looked and tasted amazing! Their salsas were on the bland side, though their hot salsa was pretty hot... just not a lot of depth of flavor. Service was friendly and helpful too.

Grateful to have found a comfy conveniently located 24/7 spot. The rice and beans were the star of the show, perfectly seasoned! The flavor of the tacos were really good however they were all soaked in grease. Wasn't the biggest far of the cheese used on the sope, the flavor was overpowering. The workers were very kind and gave great service.

I was excited about trying some real tacos while in Texas. This place was close to where we were staying so we stopped in. My wife had the queso birria tacos and those were pretty good. I had steak tacos but It didn't look like steak. The meat really didn't have much flavor. The quesadilla was pretty good but overall I would have to give this place a thumbs down

Disgusting! Came here last night on a whim because we went hungry and I should have just stayed hungry and went to bed. the service was great! The ambiance was chill, with a few customers and it was a 12 minute wait. My friend enjoyed her Birria Tacos but my food was horrible. The quesadilla was bland, lacked flavor and VERY disappointing, the rice was left over and very hard. The queso was bland and had a funny taste to it. I was highly disappointed in the food. Def do not recommend.

This place is pretty good. The tacos were very good. Service was good. It was quick. The place was very clean. One of the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen at a Taqueria. Don't let the appearance outside distract you. These are genuinely good tacos. That being said the reason I gave four stars instead of five is because their salsa is just shy of great, and although the taco chef is a very important part of a Taqueria, the salsa is equally important if not more so and this salsa fell short in my opinion. They offer green and red. I thought the green tasted better than the red, from a heat perspective I would say medium, but yeah, they need to work on the salsa.

Trompo Tacos: very tasty.Chorizo Tacos: very flavorful and greasy!Barbacoa Tacos: that rendered fat was perfect.Onions & Colantro: more than enough for my tacos.Corn Elotes: dessert, why not.Horchata: cooling.Red and Green creamy sauces on the table add zip.

I loved this place last weekend, so I decided to come this morning to grab food for my office. I called to place my order, and the gentleman that answered the phone couldn't understand me, so he hung up. I called back multiple times with no answer. I drove the restaurant to order in person upon my arrival, the gentleman that attempted to take my order, his comprehension of English was poor. This language barrier made it difficult for him to understand me. Due to this, I decided to cancel my order and go elsewhere. I planned to spend a little over $100 to feed my staff breakfast. So, this establishment lost out on funds because no one working could service me. I can only imagine how much money they lose due to this. NOTE TO THE OWNER: You may want to consider hiring someone who is bilingual. It would benefit you immensely financially.

I love love love the birria tacos. They are the best in DFW and they're open 24 hours. I love this place. The trompo tacos are really good too

There is no other way to say that this food is absolutely horrible. I ordered 2 fajita beef tacos, 1 barbacoa taco and one red and green tamale. Let's start with the Fajita beef tacos...As you can see from the pictures, the beef is very light in color and flavor and resembles dry chicken. Additionally, they were full of huge pieces of grilled onions which I didn't ask for and once I removed the onions from the taco, there was about 2 TABLESPOONS OF MEAT in one of them. Now I know I'm being nit-picky here but look at the taco you can see how light in color it is. I only finished the one tiny tacoNext onto the barbacoa,A whole Bay leaf in the taco and still NO FLAVOR. It tastes extremely fatty and not moist like barbacoa normally is. But the biggest thing was that it didn't have any flavor like it just tasted like cooked meat in maybe some pepper... It wasn't good at all And honestly to save the worst for last.....LOOK AT THESE TAMALES!!! At this point just sell Masa only because clearly whoever makes the tamales hates making them! I don't even have to say what's wrong with them because just look at them. Also maybe 2 tablespoons of meat in this tamale and you guessed it NO FLAVOR. The service is extremely slow. I will say the place was clean and the ambiance was chill but just close the place down it's pretty bad :((( I love tacos and tamales but this was a huge let down
