a cute cozy tiny bakery with sooo many different pasties, kolache and quiches. they have several different unique flavors that make it hard to choose one. i personally recommend the sausage cheese and candied jalapeño kolache as it fluffy, cheesy and the candied jalapeño added a nice yummy touch. my friends were slightly disappointed with the quiche as they thought it was a little on the bland side.the service is very friendly. prices are a little on the pricey side which is typical for a bakery.

I am so in love with this place. All homemade breakfast items and all the pastries and desserts you can dream about. I'm glad this place is on way home from White Rock Lake so that means I got a workout in before inhaling the carbs (usually). It's an order at the counter place. You will have time to stare at all the delicious treats before making your order. There's not a lot of seating inside but I hand never seen anyone waiting to sit. The big table in the middle of the roomIs communal. I always order my stuff to go. Yummy coffee, pastries, quiches, salads to go (the have a cooler with grab and go items). What more could you ask for?!

Leila's is a charming neighborhood café that offers a delightful array of pastries and quiches. The Sausage & Sage quiche is a standout, perfectly balanced in flavor. Although I haven't had the chance to sample all their pastries yet, the Strawberry Cake I tried was quite good. The café boasts ample seating, including a cozy communal table, making it a perfect spot for solo visitors or groups. It's also dog-friendly, which is a lovely touch for pet owners. They serve iced coffee too, though I haven't had the chance to try it yet. The overall ambiance at Leila's is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy good food.

Very cute little shop with yummy lattes and fantastic looking pastries!! I ordered a hot latte with hazelnut syrup. It had a good espresso flavor without being bitter. It had just a touch of hazelnut, just like I like it (not too sweet either). My boyfriend ordered an iced mocha and he commented it could have used more milk. I appreciated the barista asked what type of milk we wanted with our lattes (I got low fat and my boyfriend is a whole milk guy). The pastries looked amazing but we didn't try any.... I will definitely be back though!

I've visited Leila's bakery a few times before. The bakery itself is the cutest little place you'll ever see and not once has the service, food, or coffee let me down. However, my experience today has really blown my expectations out of this world!! My sister and I are very indecisive people when it comes to ordering anything. Not only were the baristas more than patient, but they also happily answered any questions that I had! They were also extremely friendly and personable! 11/10 recommend

Cute little coffee shop tucked off Skillman!! Went in for coffee and ended up leaving with coffee and several yummy baked goods. Highly recommend the pumpkin loaf! The kolaches were tasty (even though they were out of a few options that I was interested in). My sister and I each had an iced coffee that hit the spot. They lose a star for no restrooms and seemingly being understaffed. The water coolers was empty and the trash was overflowing, but I'm going to guess those were due to a busy spurt and only having 1 counter person.I am excited to support this local business and will be back soon!

What a lovely little gem in the east dallas neighborhood. Friendly staff with a laid back vibe. Plenty of pastries to choose from. Pastries are done well with great texture. And getting hints of cardamon in my pastry along with my chai tea was perfect.

So I have been on a quest, now that I'm officially a "coffee drinker" (full disclosure: I get my coffee on the outside! *quote from Seinfeld) I'm searching for quaint mom & pop coffee shops in the DFW area. Today's find is so fabulous that I had to post about it: Leila's Bakery & Cafe checks ALL the boxes!! It's very cozy, they serve on mismatched china, the music was a nice nostalgic mix...plus a bonus today, there were sweet little ones and even a dog that I got to fawn over! It's just big enough so that you don't feel cramped, and all the patrons were friendly with their neighbors. Service was phenomenal! (some other places, they barely look you in the eye). The only downside is that I'm pretty sure I won't get outta here without a box full of their house made goodies

Their Quiche is amazing!!! I originally just swing by to grab a box of pastries but decided to stay for a quiche and did not regrets. Oh man it is so soft, fluffy and flavorful. I forgot the name but it have bacon and cheese in it. Although the parking is very limited but not a big deal, ill park on the moon for their quiche haha.
