Solid BBQ is South Dallas. Really nice staff who can make recommendations as well. I had the rib plate with potato salad and baked beans. You get a side of white bread or cornbread. The sauce can also be served on the side as well. The ribs are the fall of the bone tender style and have a nice smoke to them, I'm thinking oak or hickory. You can order from the side window or inside.

My friend and I thought it was mediocre. Mixed plate of short ribs and links had two ribs and a sliced link with store bought potato salad and beans. Cost was $25 per plate. Way overpriced!

This is not a fancy place, but they have good food and at least in my experiences, courteous service. I gave 4 stars because consistency can sometimes be an issue as far as tenderness of the ribs and beef go, but usually they are very good and tender. I always drive through, so I do not even know if they have seating inside, and therefore can't offer an opinion on that. Give this place a try if you like good old-fashioned barbecue to-go. Oh, and their prices are reasonable if compared to other "mainstream" barbecue restaurants.

So good. Chicken and dressing off the chain. Kool aid and lemonade so good. Friendly workers.

That's some real southern BBQ, y'all! We stopped by because we were dropping into the PicknPull yard down the road, and decided some BBQ would give us the sustenance we needed. So glad we did!We did have to wait a pretty long time in the drive thru, but it was worth the wait. I will say, this doesn't seem like the kind of place you come to on your lunch break, as you likely would not have time to eat your food after getting it, but if you have the time to be patient, you won't regret it.We got 2 plates, each with brisket and sausage, with sides of fried okra, potato salad, baked beans, and sweet potato. We also got corn bread and white bread to eat with it. Y'all, I cannot say enough about how juicy and tender that brisket was! It literall fell apart when you poked it with a fork. I'm actually salivating while writing this, just thinking about it! The sausage was obviously either made in house or local, you could tell by the casing. It also was just meaty and delicious, with tons of flavor. The sweet potato was perfect, tasted like it had a hint of honey and maybe some salt, it really let the potato shine. The fried okra was absolutely perfect as well. The potato salad was good, but nothing really special about it. The baked beans were a little bit of a let down, as they tasted just like classic canned pork n beans. The pictures we saw of the BBQ beans looked more homemade, so we are guessing they may have just ran out that day.All told, it was scrumptious eats, and the portions were large enough that we had 2 full meals leftover!

This lil spot surprised me. Spot that I've passed for a while and finally went because of a friends recommendation. Pulled up and I'm still confused if there is a dine in area. There is a walk up window and a drive through but no parking and I'm not sure if there is a front door lol. Now everything else was great. A link wrap for $1.50 which is basically a hot link wrapped in a slice of bread with sauce. Simple but good. The rib sandwich was 4 juicy ribs on slice bread with a lil sauce. Now the ribs were very tasty and tender and I'll definitely return again for this sandwich, I just wish it had more sauce. Overall no complaints just excitement over my next visit when I'll be able too try the brisket, the ETLinks and the hamburger.

Unbelievably GREAT!!! So I was @ a nearby biz & got suddenly hungry. This was the first place I saw, a little hole in the wall looking place. What a shock when I got a BBQ sandwich LOADED with lean, tender, flavorful brisket. Had to be close to a pound of meat! For $8...Are you kidding me??!! I don't live around here, but I will be back.

Decided to stop by this place and ordered an order of the ribs. The team member who took my order was knowledgeable about the menu. Received my order in a timely manner. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone every bite. They were seasoned to perfection. Will be returning soon.

I love this place, the food is great and its the true definition of southern food. The ladies at the front are awesome and always so helpful. Please try the greens and loaded mash potatoes they are soo good. I love to support black owned businesses and appreciate their good food. I eat here at least 3x times a week and the guy that cooks in the back is so handsome.
