Oh man, I used to love this ride as avalanche when I was a teenager coming in. The ride line may look short, but operations are very slow as they can load 3 to 6 people per cart. Most likely 3 if there are adults only and 6 if an adult and 1 kid. I waited 30 minutes with my wife. Okay the ride itself well it is bumpy and so bumpy that I hurt my tail bone on the first turn as the cart bumps up and down and your butt really hurts. Anyways after each turn I had to not sit on the seat that is how much pain I was in. I did ended up recovering from the ride but took me 2 days till my tail bone did not hurt anymore.

No track? No problem.Gains notoriety for being one of the few remaining 'bobsled' coasters in the USA. For those unfamiliar with the genre, bobsled coasters are essentially free-wheeling trains that navigate a half-pipe "U"-shaped track. Unlike 99% of all other roller coasters that are affixed to the track, bobsled coasters have the ability to move around in slightly different ways depending on the weight distribution within the car. The downside to this is that it results in a much tamer ride since the speed is limited to under 30 or 40mph.There are also 3 block brake sections--an unusual number--to control any variance from car to car and reduce the amount of 'fishtailing' the free-rolling trains experience. The other downside unique to this particular model is that the cars themselves only seat a maximum of 6 people in an in-line arrangement. This results in a very low rider capacity per hour and, as a consequence, long lines. Counter this by making it your first ride of the day.Don't let that 60ft height statistic fool you; when the single train disengages from the lift hill and you come rumbling down the course, you'll be glad there's handlebars nearby! Lots of fun for everyone big and small, and one of the last of its kind anywhere in the world.

I agree with previous feedback that the ride is rough. It's likely harder on heavier bodies and not so rough for kids or smaller adults. There are a couple of points where I felt slammed down in the seat. Anticipating the turns helps, but better seat padding would be an improvement. All that said, it's a classic ride that I'm glad Six Flags has KEPT and not torn down for something more extreme.

Dangerous! It's like someone was in a serious car wreck was inspired to relive that experience in a ride. You get thrown about in the metal car with no real cushioning, so it is a constant experience of whiplash. This was the first ride we went on and it hurt so badly that I only went on one small ride after that.Strongly recommend avoiding.
