Food: I absolutely LOVE the food here! They take breakfast up a notch, with flavor and creativity! For my entree, I ordered the "Breakfast plate", which consisted of sour dough bread, sausage (or your choice of bacon), vegetable hash, and 2 eggs. I loved that they asked how I like my scrambled eggs. This is the first breakfast place that did that! You can choose runny or well-done! the vegetable hash was very unique and flavorful! I loved that a bit of green veggies were on my plate! The dough dough toast tasted divine with the fresh butter and jam! Pastries- i enjoyed the earl grey pound cake! It was unique and delicious! Coffee- order the cafe de Olla! You won't be disappointed! It was so delicious on its own that I did not even need to add cream. It was sweet and perfect! Service: our server was very doting and came by often to make sure we were doing okay! Ambiance: The bakery/cafe had a bit of the funky 70s vibe/color/theme to it!

La Casita was a whole experience- lovely light pouring through the whole bakeshop and restaurant- all the seasonal smells and the coffee- it was the best dreamy vibe. We arrived around 10:15, waited about an hour but were able to snag one about 45 minutes later- I had to have a coffee right away so we veered right to order at the to go counter and sipped coffee and enjoyed a super flaky almond croissant before getting our table. The food was very flavorful- I got the chilaquiles to share, we also shared the banana pancakes- bomb. My coffee was awesome- it was a seasonal mocha with maybe a little orange-So good! Nice service. Good food- it was worth the drive and loved the whole ebb and flow of the place.

Finally tried La Casita today, after following them on social media for about a year. I was scouting it out for a work team lunch, and I'm not sure there are enough "safe" selections for picky and/or traditional eaters. Very creative items. I chose the ham & cheese quiche which came with a side of kale Caesar.. both very good! They have more baked goods available on the weekends ... for this weekday they offered sour dough and white bread, so I purchased the sourdough. Also had an iced matcha. Take them literally when they ask if you want any sweetener / flavoring. I like it this way, but many places automatically add some level of sweetener.Good place for remote working and relaxed breakfast/lunch.

I came here for brunch with friends on a Sunday around 11. I arrived a little early to get on the waiting list (they don't take same-day reservations, but you can plan ahead) and the hosts were so nice/accommodating while I was waiting for my whole party to arrive! Our waitress was very kind/attentive and we enjoyed all of our drinks & food - we shared the banana praline pancakes (not too dense or overly sweet, loved the bananas & sauce) and I also enjoyed the breakfast plate (everything was good but I could've eaten a whole bowl of the veggie hash and the bread was perfect with the house made jam)! I've been here before for just a coffee & pastry (they post their monthly specials on instagram), but really enjoyed the dine-in experience and think this is a great brunch spot option (lots of options and nice atmosphere - busy but not too loud)! I will definitely be back!

We went for brunch here with the family two days before Christmas. I ordered Christmas Madam from their Holiday Brunch Menu and their Grinch pancakes. I bought a Sourdough loaf and Cinnamon raisin loaf bread. Very clean Cafe and Bakery. Servers are friendly and helpful. Well lighted and decorated place.

I visited La Casita on a Saturday morning around 8:30am for breakfast with a party of 3 people. The place is spacious and it wasn't super busy yet. We were greeted and quickly seated. We had the Tikka Masala sandwich and Crispy potato sandwich which are both decently sized portions. Our waiter asked if we wanted hot sauce, and they provided us with some cholula which I recommend if you like spice. I enjoyed both of the sandwiches! I wished the chicken sandwich had more tikka masala sauce on it, but other than that they're both very solid. My friend ordered the breakfast plate which they also enjoyed. If you dine in, they also provide the pastry menu so you can order them from your table. You can also go up to their counter to order the pastries as well. We tried as assortment of their speciality goods that you can only get on the weekend, plus a few from their daily menu. Everything we tried definitely met/exceeded our expectations. Their churro cruffin is amazing! I do wish it had a bit more of the Dulce de leche filling. Their chocolate chip cookie is very good, sweet with bits of flaky salt. From their autumn weekend selections, I loved their cheesy gochujang pretzel croissant. I think any of their croissant selections are a good option to try, as they are the perfect amount of buttery and flaky. Overall, La Casita lives up to the hype and I can't wait to come back to try more of their food/pastries!

This is the 4th time my hubby and I visit La Casita for breakfast. The first time we visited we were pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere and unique ambience of the restaurant. It is a bakery and restaurant. The food is consistently well prepared and flavorful. The last two times we went I ordered hot oatmilk matcha latte ( yummy!) and the Breakfast Plate; a simple dish yet so flavorful. It includes the house made strawberry/guava jam- so tasty. Don't miss trying it! My hubby has ordered the French Toast and the Benedict. He said the French Toast was the best he has had in a restaurant and I agree. The Benedict is served on top of a house made English muffin with well seasoned mojo pork and chimichurri Hollandaise sauce. The drip coffee he ordered was fresh and delicious. We have gone on the weekend and it gets pretty packed. You can reserve a table online ahead of time or if you have to wait for a table, there are tables and stools in the To Go area as well as coffee/ tea and pastries you can order.

La Casita already has a rep in the pastry world...slowly taking over the DFW area for pastries in shops and their own personal orders/restaurant. She's a force to be reckoned with. I didn't expect any less from their breakfast meals (although, I was pleasantly surprised they had moved in this realm). No loss in stamina...so good!My husband and I had the cafe olla, Turkish latte, banana praline pancakes, and chilaquiles. Every one of those were great. The hubs felt the cinnamon coffee was a much more acidic blend, but with a bit of cream--yummm. The Turkish latte was very sweet, but the flavors were good. We split both meals so they brought the chilaquiles on two plates (and we were almost full after our 1/2 portions!!). The pancakes are gigantic and somehow perfectly fluffy and flavored. I'm a picky pancake eater and I usually like them thinner, but this is a definite to try (it's basically and entire two layer cake haaa). We also had two pastries to-go: churro cruffin and seasonal peach sour cream maritozzi. The cruffin was to-die-for; the maritozzi may have been less exciting because i took too many days to eat it. One plus with La Casita is that you can make reservations for breakfast!

Great place for a quick bite before work! The worker behind the counter was very kind, and warned me that the cold foam had dairy in it. I had the chocolate croissant and the monkey bread pastry. Both were very delicious. My cold brew was just a little sour, but I'm sure I just need to get used to the taste. Very vibey place and will definitely be coming back more.
