Ku Sushi & Japanese Cuisine

Stopped here once before to wait out some traffic after another one of my many Dr appointments. So why not do it again. Kamkazi roll was my favorite and then maybe the Terri roll. I should have gotten the Kristy roll but they have so many options I didn't want to have one that was similar to other places. They have a list of riceless rolls to choose from so bring that low carb diet here. Or just because... It's very quiet here and was not just either time I came. Everyone is nice but they leave you alone. So don't come for social time unless you come with friends. I will be back. Possibly next appointment.

Was looking for a mom and pop comfort sushi spot and this is it for me! Affordable, attentive service, good sushi! The Volcano roll was 12/10, beef gyoza were great! Nothing unique but very good. I also liked the shrimp tempura roll without avocado.

Ku is my family's go to sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. The service is good and the sushi is excellent and always fresh. If you are looking for ambiance, this may not be your spot although the inside is designed well and is clean/newish. It's very comfortable if you are going with kids (that is the great thing about this area).

I came here for lunch. The waiter was very attentive and they had a large selection of rolls and fish. The rice less rolls are great- it is a little pricier than expected for a strip mall sushi place but it was good. I'd go back.

During my week in Dallas we ate here once and then picked up once. They have the most amazing selection of riceless rolls that I've seen. A few of the restaurants back home have 1-3 rolls as options, but there at least 10 on this menu. And all the ones I tried were sooo good! My husband and I also shared the infamous tuna tower, which lived up to the hype. I didn't think it would travel as well so we didn't order it when we ordered in a few days later. However, i would definitely order again if I was eating at Ku.Service was relatively fast and very friendly. Their pricing is also on par with most sushi restaurants. This is some of the better sushi I've had when visiting Dallas!

First time here. The specialty rolls were really good! (See pictures) They had quick service which helped fill my hungry belly. Waiters were very knowledgeable and helping each other, love to see that! Little expensive which is why I rated 4/5. Woo was a great host! Kind of small restaurant with a nice ambiance so space might be limited during rush hours. It gave me hole in the wall feel which is always fun!

The food is okay, nothing fancy but tastes good. The service is good, as long as it is not crowded. As more people show up there, the service quality decreases. I like the vibe ...

We've eaten at this restaurant a few times and have had mixed experiences. Tonight we came in for an early dinner and the service was rude and terrible. We were the only people in the restaurant and they brought out our entire meal - appetizers, soup, entrees - all at once. None of the waiters were remotely friendly. When we complained, the waiter (manager?) tried to make an excuse' "that's what we always do unless you request differently." As we were getting ready to leave, the same waiter said something to the effect of, I'm sorry if you have a complaint." Needless to say that the last time we'll eat there.

Incredible portion of very fresh fish. Nice, quiet atmosphere, perfect for conversation. True Dallas Gem.

Always great! Carl knows your order and remembers when you forget. Even when creative and trendy restaurants open around KU, something about the high quality of this neighborhood sushi spot will keep me coming back.
