Krab Kingz 214

Haven't been here in a while and decided to go back and try it after work one day. I ordered a crab boil with shrimp and with lemon pepper and garlic butter sauce I believe. I was the only one inside but I was ordering to go. The guy working told me that they don't technically do the boil in a bag anymore but that he went ahead and hooked it up for me. Said the owner was making changes. I don't think the owner should take away one of the main things ppl will want to order. Seafood boils in a bag is just a very popular thing. Hope to see them bring themBack on the menu. My crab boil was okay. I should've gotten more flavored butters. The crab was cooked okay. Sausage were decent but I like mine a little different texture. The boiled egg was delicious. The shrimps were good too,

The food was great. When I got back to my hotel room, it was still hot. It had hay the right amount of spicy.

Krab Kingz 214 is a small restaurant located off Midway Rd and Trinity Mills. We were sceptic at first since the restaurant completely was empty, but we quickly discovered that looks can be deceiving. My friend had the hot honey lemon pepper wings and hot hot honey lemon pepper fries and let you tell you, he tore that food up. It must have been good!!!!! I had the turkey nachos. They were huge and covered with cheese and turkey. They were not stingy with the toppings. I was only able to eat 15% of it. This is definitely a meal that can be shared. Great customer service, great food. Go check them out for yourself.

This place is hands down one of the hottest Seafood Cajun restaurants in the DFW metroplex. The service was great and the atmosphere was really chill. The food portion sizes are large so prepare to come with an appetite.

Today is the last time I'm ordering from here. Service has declined tremendously. We ordered a small shrimp tray spicy, 2 other sides of shrimp, 2 sides of potatoes and an extra corn. They put all the potatoes and extra corn in the small tray, so they are all spicy. And WE had to return to have it corrected even though it was delivered to us. Then you can't get an answer when you call. It just rings before saying the mailbox is full. Never again. Not worth $42.

Oh my!! I am so thankful that I found this place! I use to go to the Krab Kingz in Richardson before they closed and was sad about. This place has only been open for 2 months and it is very nice inside and very clean. The service was great! I was told they will have daiquiris soon along w/ wine & beer but for now it's BYOB. I ordered the #2 crab special w/o the sausage, lemon pepper spicy.. it was so yummy and not over cooked. I had 2 full crab legs, shrimp, egg & potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly & seasoned well! I def will be going back to try some other things on the menu.

Update to previous review: We wanted to try something different, so ordered a pick-up order online. We splurged, thinking the food would be as heavenly as before, but were extremely disappointed. We ordered 2 of the #9s, fried lobster tails, fish, and shrimp. Both meals were way overcooked, basically charred. We were VERY shocked that they didn't make this meal over once they saw they had overcooked it, especially knowing the customer paid $35.99 for each one! I'm not sure we'll be going back, although my husband says we should give them another try. I'm thinking with all the choices of seafood restaurants in the area, why take the chance. I'll post a pic of one of our meals.

I literally walked in and the Red headed ladies hello was: Baby it's going to be a 45 min wait and we close at 8. With 2 tables seated. Basically don't waist your time. In a pretty rude tone. Debatable I will be coming back.

The place has went down hill since they hired new staff! 45 min wait for food, food isn't the same, staff is just not as family friendly as it used to be. BRING BACK THE OG STAFF & FOOD!!!

Our family decided to meet for dinner. We have been here several times and again this time didn't disappoint. With a party of 10, the service was excellent! The food was wonderful from the crab boils to the succulent turkey covered in shrimp and Cajun pasta. KK is clean and spacious with plenty of seating. This will most definitely be a family gathering place.
