Kostas Greek Cafe

Fantastic! We live further north but needed a fast meal nearby while down in the area. They squeezed us in before the kitchen closed at 230pm and everyone's meals were incredibly delicious. From appetizers to coffee afterwards. We will definitely return here when we want a taste of true Greek food!

Food is not bad but the lack in presentation makes it almost unappealing and is not in line with the otherwise nicer atmosphere. It's ok but not really compelling, but could be better if they want to make it so.Minus point: Tax included in tip calculation.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over a decade, and it never disappoints. This cozy Greek eatery serves a variety of classic dishes alongside great options for wine and beer, including some from Greece. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.Their specials are a standout, especially the fish dishes--the seasoning is always on point. The Horiatiki, a traditional Greek salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, Kalamata olives, and a generous amount of feta, is a must-try. The Greek dressing ties it all together beautifully. I recently had the sea bass, and it was perfectly soft, flaky, and flavorful. This place remains one of my favorites for authentic and comforting Greek food!

This restaurant is simply amazing. One of the best gyros I've had in a long time.. their falafel is very tasty..I love their chicken soup.. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is so good each time we go there. Service is fast and courteous. I love the spanikopita.

Amazing find! This place is a whole vibe. I absolutely love the decor; it brings you to a different time and place. The menu has a great selection. Our service was great and everything we had was delicious. The dolmas were soooo good and the sauce around it was liquid gold. The eggplant dip was my favorite out of the dips, I ordered the Athenian Combo and all the protein items were cooked to perfection. This is a very traditional restaurant; you're coming here for the food! The desert was EVERYTHING and I'm so upset I don't remember what it was. It tasted like fall in a good way! Can't wait to bring my husband here!

The gyro was absolutely delicious and very filling. The service was fast and great as well. I believe the owner was there walking around the entire time making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and the food! The ambiance was very relaxing with the dim lights!

I had to get a proper gyro after my experience at another establishment earlier in the day. Kostas Greek Cafe did not disappoint. I ordered the Gyro sandwich, calamari and the avgolemono soup. The Gyro was on point, wonderful meat with the right amount of twatziki and onions, this could only be improved with a couple of wedges of tomato. The pita was warm. Closet I could find to the gyros at Greek Town Chicago. The calamari were lightly fried and came with a butter lemon mixture for dipping, so yummy. The Avgolemono soup was nice and creamy! I will be back soon for Lamb shank!

Kostas is good, solid Greek food that is enjoyable and flavorful. A lot of the dishes are great but honestly I love the avgolemono soup the best. It's so good!

Like the Greek Food I grew up eating. The Domathes and sauce are heavenly. love that they serve them in a bowl. The Greek Salad is great, lots of feta and great flavor. We also love that they have fresh Veggies they serve.
