Far as hell from everywhere and there's nothing around a little elm to hang out before the wedding. The venue was pretty, the garden was pretty. Overall pretty big venue that can host up to 200-250 guests max. There is an upstairs and downstairs as well.

Had a blast at a friends wedding. The property is very well kept and the event staff were very professional. Food was not perfect but still very tasty. I would recommend this place to people looking for a good venue.

SO TORN WHEN READING PLEASE KNOW I BOOKED HERE! No Hidden Hidden Fees::: please take in to account that $13K is for venue only!!!!Anyways don't be too judgmental because i DID book here because the property is so beautiful i couldn't capture it in photos. Okay so today I paid the 50% to secure the venue and date (non refundable). Luckily the next payment isn't til June 2021. But also in 30 days I have to pay 25% to the Beverage company with a $4500 minimum. ugh! No option for an outside vendor. Caterer we will deal with later down the line which is just as much as the venue. Option "suggested" caterer or $1000 additional for an outside caterer. I was able to get a $1000 credit for rental through the company (other option was $500 off a Saturday wedding.) covid deal. But when I would ask about specific things like linens (no included) fireworks that they have in the rental book can NOT be used for the credit. I thought it was funny to get excited about something and they say "uh, no! Not included" lol.No WiFi don't ask. Grooms suite is very nice but small. Ideal for only the groom to get dressed in but a cool hang out spot for the guys. ABSOLUTELY love the Bridal suite tho. The Tv with all of the surveillance of the venue so I don't even have to leave the room! YES!!!! I love the WHITE canvas! I can do whatever I want with colors because everything is white white! The light fixtures OMG the light fixtures AMAZING! The reception area is quite smaller that depicted in the animation and photos. I am really hoping that the weather is amazing on my wedding date because there are soooo many beautiful spot outside I will love to utilize.Overall, the employees are helpful seemed a little pulled back at first and I got the feeling that I didn't get the most exceptional service on the first look because I possibly didn't look like other people who have booked here. But when I came to pay IN CASH I seemed to get more enthusiasm and smiles. So many pros to this place but a lot of CONS! Expect to look at a budget no less than $30,000 here BUT you even take in to account decorations, photographers, videographer, band, transportation, honeymoon or EVEN the DRESS! So many hidden costs so little wiggled room. But some like me.... make the sacrifice because I fell in love with my choice #2.

The venue was beautiful. I attended as a guest and have to say I was disappointed in the service given to the guests. We were at the venue for about 7 hours and on 3 separate visits to the ladies room there were no hand towels. When informed about this the staff asked if We were sure, then said they would try to get to it. Oddly when a male guest was asked - the mens room had extra packages of towels. We had to fill the towels ourselves the second time and was asked why I cared on the third occasion (remember this was over 7 hours, not 15 minutes). It may seem like a little thing but when attending a black tie event at a beautiful venue it would be nice to wash your hands and dry them (not on your gown).

Attended a close friend's wedding in November and the venue is beautiful & the perfect size for an intimate wedding reception or events. I didn't ask questions about the venue, but I will share the obvious. They have a bar in the main area, the bride dressing room is located upstairs with lots of mirrors, lights, and dressing chairs to fit your wedding party (if the bride wanted them to get dressed there). There is a pool room and a small little patio that over looks the area that was used for the ceremony. However, I did not see an elevator. Idk how that would work for anyone in a wheelchair to get upstairs if they wanted. Otherwise, if that is not an issue, Knotting Hill is gorgeous. Overall, beautiful wedding venue.

We had our wedding here in December 2018. The venue is much prettier in person than in pictures. I have included some photos of the interior from my wedding to help give an idea. Everything that was promised to us was delivered. The bartenders are amazing which is rare at weddings. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly throughout the event. There was a wedding at the venue the night before and our decorators came in at 5AM the next day. The venue staff cleaned so well, you couldn't even tell there was an event the day before. The valet service was great and is a must if you have more than 100 guests as regular parking spaces is limited. We had 250 guests and found this space to be the perfect size. Brian and Becky were present the day of to make sure everything was going smoothly.

This place is an absolute DREAM. Since the first contact, every question (and then some) has been responded to immediately, and explained. Every inch of the venue has been thought through, and it shows. I am incredibly happy that I get to say "I do" to my dream man, at the most perfect place in this world! March 1, 2020 can't come any sooner!

Knotting Hill Place - Wedding experience. For those seeking an elegant, country venue, rather than a hotel, for their wedding Knotting Hill is a good choice. The building is beautiful - situated 40 minutes from downtown Dallas in Little Elm on a large open plot ideal for an outside ceremony (weather permitting) or a spacious indoor hall replete with stage and balcony. The ballroom is ideal for receptions, with bars on both the sides, a large balcony and winding staircase for the perfect bridal couple entrance. The acoustics are good. Pre-wedding rooms are upstairs. The bridal suite is magnificent - very spacious and well appointed for the bride and her attendants. So too the groom's suite, equipped with couches and a large pool table. A few more rooms downstairs can accommodate various requirements. A large stone patio overlooks the rolling lawns. The staff was always friendly and tried to be accommodating within their policies, including accommodating their first Kosher wedding, working with us on monitoring the weather for an outdoor vs. indoor venue, and small one-off requests. They worked well with our vendors and planners. They answered all inquiries prior to the wedding in a responsive and timely manner. All in all it was a beautiful venue and a good experience. Some challenges to be aware of: Beware extra hidden costs. For example, - Within the "deposit" is a non-refundable "cleaning fee". That should be upfront in the venue cost. - Access to the venue on the wedding day is limited. Additional access (in excess of 10 hours day and night including setup, tear down and event) was charged at $250+ per hour. Without having access to the venue for the full day and it being challenging to do a larger wedding added extra stress. We could not get ready at the venue and one of the key features is the bridal and groom's suite. This was specified upfront in the contract, so pay careful attention when calculating the cost of venue all in. - They also had very limited tables on site which meant paying a rental company for extra. - As with all these venues you have to have them supply the alcohol at predictably exorbitant prices. The same is probably true in all hotel venues. They are not well suited to accommodate weddings larger than about 200 even though they claim 300. You can't have more than 200-250 without putting guests on the balcony or outdoor patio for seating or without a very small dance floor.

The management here is ridiculous. At 5:00 pm they told us the reception area was going to be ready 6:00 pm we came back at 5:45 and all the tables were all ready seated, they they announced three tables at a time to get up and get food but there was no one guiding the guest and everyone was everywhere, then the bar sign said they open at 6:30 pm but ended up opening at 7:00 pm. This was a horrible unprofessional experience for me and my family.
