King Kong Boba Tea & Smoothie

Awesome new place for boba! Great flavors. Clean place, friendly staff. Busy on a Friday!

We stopped by here for some nice refreshing Boba on a freezing day and we were not disappointed. I like one of the other Boba places nearby, they actually sell food. News to us. The Boba is great, the service was quick and friendly, the interior is nice, and we'll be back again. It just might be our favorite Boba place in Garland.

Came in on a quiet afternoon to grab some drinks and snacks, the atmosphere was nice and family who owns the business is very friendly. We ordered a smattering: seasoned fries, chicken wings, butterfly tea, mango tea...The food comes out piping hot, delicious, salty and spicy! Great with iced tea.

Big menu, fast service, decent drinks. An order of Korean corn dogs was about $10 but came with 2 smaller corn dogs. I actually prefer this to paying $5-$7 for one bigger one as having two smaller ones makes each easier to eat and share.I didn't try my dad's honeydew milk tea but he liked it. I thought the pearls were alright, a bit soggy and not very sweetened. The oolong was good and had a darker coffee flavor. The sea salt top wasn't easy to mix in which made for clumps in the drink that remained after I'd finished the tea.The store was clean and there were chips and some other snacks for sale besides the food and drinks. Overall I'd give it a 3.5/5 stars - nothing amazing but I don't regret coming. Staff was nice and plenty of seating and options. I do think it'd be better to have a more cohesive menu and more firm and sweet pearls, though.

They had a rough start, and despite the trendy interior, accessible location and pretty diverse menu, we just weren't willing to go back when service was just ok and food quality was unacceptable. But fast forward many months and a new location, and it looks like they've got things sorted out.Service is a lot better, no issues with drinks or items and what you order comes out as quick as you'd expect at a boba place, save some of the heartier items. The family that owns the place still work on site so that's always a plus.As for food, they've progressed from quite literally serving inedible items to serving hot, fresh and actually cooked items while their drinks are a lot more consistent and more than just palatable. It sounds harsh but they've been jogging uphill to get here and things are certainly good enough for me to make the trip out for a light lunch or cafe weekend.As far as they've come, I must applaud them because most places simply stay stagnant and get themselves shut down with or without their choice. This is a great frame to be your local chill spot so I'd say head on down and see if it fits!

Great variety in their menu for drinks and food. Boba has a good texture. I had their watermelon pineapple tea with black boba. They also have a small selection of packaged Korean snacks which looked tempting to try! Friendly counter service and quick! Seating available inside and outside.

I finally went to King King boba with some friends to try the halal food options and boba. My experience overall was an average 7s/10. The vibes were immaculate but the food and drinks were a bit underwhelming. The plus side is that their menu is all halal at the Garland location!------------All the drinks were very sweet, I would recommend ordering less sugar. We got several variations of their coffee milk tea with foams, and they all tasted the same to me 6/10. It tasted very similar to dalgona, so if that's your thing give it a try.The best part was the wings, they were crispy and delicious, 9/10. We got the butter sauce with them and it was a great pairing, very rich.We also got the popcorn chicken. This had too much seasoning for me, 6/10. It was very difficult to eat because of how salty it was.Overall, would come back here for the wings and maybe to try some different milk teas.

I've been to King Kong several times for their Triple Shot Coffee, which is delicious. Today I decided to try the Paratha Roll and it did not disappoint!! It was so delicious!! I will definitely be back for more!! I would like to also add that every time I've gone in, they have been super friendly!!

10/10 must try again! I love this place and their sandwiches! The owner and his wife are pure respectful and kindness! I can eat 10 of these sandwiches if my stomach would work with me!

Amazing costumer service. boba was delightful. they made my boba w love i can just taste it:) definitely recommend and will fs be coming back.
