I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Kimpton Pittman Hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The location is fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Contrary to some reviews I've seen, I never had to open a door when coming to or leaving the property, and the guest service desk made me feel like I was living in a luxury condo building with their daily friendliness. If you enjoy good food and nightlife, this hotel's location in Deep Ellum is perfect. You can easily walk to various spots or get a cheap Uber ride. The convenience is unparalleled.I stayed in the Epic Suite, and it was absolutely stunning. As you can see from my attached photos, the room is very spacious, so you never feel cramped. The bed was incredibly soft, and the tub/shower combo was fantastic. It truly felt like a luxurious retreat. While I have a separate review for the Elm & Good restaurant, I must mention how incredible the food, drinks, and service were. However, I would recommend dining in the restaurant instead of ordering room service. My food order took about 45 minutes to arrive and wasn't warm upon delivery, which was a bit disappointing since the rooms don't have a microwave or a real fridge.Overall, The Kimpton Pittman Hotel exceeded my expectations with its outstanding service, prime location, and luxurious accommodations. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the best of Deep Ellum.

I had a fantastic stay here. Amaya checked me in and she was so kind and warm. Feel like we were best friends immediately. Amaya checked on my room immediately as I got to my room. Next level service. Classy. The front door a person opened the door every time. Got me feelin rich! The room is spacious and nice. The chromecast wasn't working with Max. Odd. Good lighting but the lights oddly confused me a bit. Weird. Room gets nice and dark for optimal sleeping. warm shower. Plenty of toiletries. Chocolate placed on my bed after cleaning. Adorable. There's a gym. I wish I'd known about the bikes and ridden those around town. Cool feature!

Pros: we booked here because it's a dog friendly hotel. They offer dog beds and bowls. Even though it's downtown, I felt really safe walking the dog. cute modern decor in room and lobby. Dogs in the hotel were all well behaved. No barking. no lunging. All dogs on leashes. No dog smell. Really fresh hotel smell. Quick check in. Friendly and attentive staff. good free coffee in the morning. Lots of available options up add to the coffee. Nice pool. Has a wheelchair lift. Cute outdoor fire pit. My husband loves this hotel. He thinks it's really well done. Any time we travel with our dog, we'll stay at a Kimpton. My husband is going to join IHG rewards. Cons: $50 for overnight parking at valet. There is a parking garage nearby; and it's $25, but you pay $7 each time you go in/out.

A lovely boutique hotel in downtown Dallas, this hotel is well appointed and well situated. The lobby offers a place to join friends for a casual game of backgammon or dominoes. There are loaner bikes and scooters for the guest's use and a nightly cocktail featuring free adult beverages. The studio suite we stayed in had an elegant industrial feeling that included cement floors and ceiling balanced by a beautiful soaker tub.

We are so lucky we chose to stay at the Kimpton during our family vacation to Dallas! Their warm service and attention to detail in an amazing location made our experience so wonderful. Christian in particular deserves a special shout out - she knew my name, responded so quickly to requests and was always so professional. You can text the front desk or call if you need anything and they're always so responsive. The breakfast was so delicious and there's free amazing coffee in the morning! And at 5-6pm there's wine and a snack :) we walked to all the amazing restaurants in Deep Ellum and also enjoyed the heated pool at the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family went on a family trip to Dallas and stayed at the Kimpton Pittman Hotel, and we had an amazing time! The interior is super modern, clean, and stylish--really gave off a fancy vibe. The location was perfect too, with museums and the aquarium nearby. I loved how big and clean the bathroom was, and somehow, we even managed to get a room upgrade, which made things even better! I don't think there's self-parking, though. Our kids especially enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit outside--it was such a cozy spot. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it!

The Pittman is a gorgeous hotel with a top notch staff. Customer service is most certainly a 10/10. The accessibility is problematic, the entrance is in an extremely small thoroughfare that is PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG and is very loud if you are a light sleeper (earplugs were available in the nightstands) They only offer valet parking and you can self park but it is a little walk and not much cheaper than valet. We chose to self park because we knew we were exploring the area and wanted to come and go as we pleased however, attendants at the parking garage did not seem too thrilled with coming and going. The room amenities were average, the body was container was empty on arrival and never filled during my 3 night stay and the outlets would not power my Dyson hair dryer so I wasn't able to do my hair as I usually would which was disappointing. I didn't care for the morning coffee being all the way across the inside of the restaurant as you have to walk by people trying to enjoy their breakfast which felt rather rude or intrusive but as I stated the staff was AMAZING every single person I encountered was behind polite and gracious. If I were to return to Dallas I would probably chose another place based on the location only and not the hotel itself.

The rooms on the 2nd floor are right next to the train tracks and are loud. When I asked to be moved because of the noise, the hotel manager Patrick was not accommodating.
