We came on Thursday (day after Christmas) With a group of 3 people. There was tons of parking, and even with the intermittent rain, access was easy and dry inside. The restaurant is attached to a Temple and a service was in progress when we arrived so the walkways were kept clear and the patrons were kind and respectful. We went through a line with a tray, picked our plates and bowls (quality porcelain dishes for the food- so no plastic to worry about with PFAS) and had a self serve buffet style setup. They also placed a giant hand sanitizer at the door for everyone to use prior to grabbing a tray or plates. Restaurant staff continually replaced food pans as they neared empty and kept everything hot and replenished. Easy to read signage for menu items with pictures graphics most people with restricted diets ask about. Great time for us and definitely a place to revisit!

This restaurant is located inside a temple. The food is vegetarian here. Food is just excellent and hits the spot. The food tastes like home cooked. There is a different menu based on the day. It's buffet and you can eat as much as you like or take it home with a standard price of $14. Just pick a tray and help you. In case you would like to have samosa you have to pay additional $3 and for Mango Lassi it's additional $4. Do not miss to try the tamarind lemonade, the best I have ever tasted in my life. Also not to forget the vanilla rice kheer was just awesome. The staff is super polite and attentive. There is plenty of parking on the street. Ambiance is just so peaceful and amazing. I tried this place on my trip to Dallas. Wish we can have a place like this in chicago suburbs. Highly highly recommend this place! MUST TRY! Food is worth the money! A++ star

Came here on my way to white rock. It was a particularly nice day, and what I never noticed before was that they have an outdoor seatings in the courtyard. Side note: I used to come in evenings always sat inside. It's a buffet style, so you take what you want. There are dishes/desserts that cost extra, but most are included in the price. I don't remember what all I had, but I took a bit of everything, and they all tasted good. Even dessert was very nice and wasn't too sweet. This restaurant is located within the temple. Follow the signs or ask around and you won't have problems finding it.

Such a gem located inside of a Hindu temple. I came for a friend's recommendation on Diwali! And it can I say that the moment I walked in, I knew this was it be authentic place to be. Yeah, outside looks well-maintained, people are extremely nice, and the food was some of the best Indian food I've had. The depth of the flavors, complements of the spices, all were quite amazing.I would say that the selection was not crazy, but you can tell that each dish was made with quality. All vegetarian/vegan choices - There were three different curries, a lentil, soup, two different types of rice, broccoli, and some stirfry cabbage! Additionally, the desserts were vegan brownie and the rice kheer which were both DELIGHTFUL!Let me just say that I have not had a buffet in a long time and I thoroughly stuffed myself silly! ($17 dinner and $12 lunch)We will certainly be back again soon!

Just go. It's nourishing and delicious. You won't regret it. It's high prana food; eat here soon after travel, if you're feeling low energy, or if you want to feel a boost in your already lovely energy. I've been here twice and didn't remember until I was here again years later, so here's a review to remember. It's a chill spot. Don't expect frills. You use trays. It's a buffet. The offerings are just special. Unlimited kheer: dangerous.

The best vegan option in old Dallas.Freshly prepared, daily, the menu changes and can be hot or bland, according to one's taste! The lentil soup is always delicious and a staple year round. Get some crisp, steamed veggies, choose brown or white rice, then, make your plate to your liking.Service is polite and attentive.Seating goes fast, get there early. And really, there are no bad seats in the place! The patio is awesome though!

It had been many years since I had eaten here. The food was ok, definitely not the food quality I remember. Black bean curry and potatoes with green beans were the best tasting options. The jalapeño pickle tasted very nasty and I couldn't eat the salad because whatever dressing I put on it, also tasted very weird. The broccoli and carrots needed seasoning. The raisin bread was cold and didn't go with the food.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and temple. It was quite different but very interesting. I can't say I know a lot about Hindu culture but this place is great to visit. The people don't come across as too welcoming but I'd still say it's worth a visit if you're in the area. It's beautifully decorated. As for the restaurant it was good with a nice selection in the buffet as well as drinks. There are some items not included in the price for the buffet so watch out. It gets busy and the space is rather tight so don't plan to stay too long.
