Saturday night dinner,alone, 7:30PMSlight wait to sit at the sushi bar. Glad I did, the sushi chef was amazing to watch! Service was a tad slow but they were slammed. Friendly, smiling and happy staff were magnificent. My waitress recommended the short rib curry over the shaking beef dish. Great recommendation, if you like curry. Reminded me of Thai yellow curry. Ate the short rib with chopsticks, it fell off the bone. Had spicy garlic edamame for an appetizer. Hot and perfectly spicy. I also ordered a sushi roll which didn't get served but I totally understand from watching the master sushi chef and highly skilled wait staff work their magic dealing with 100% full dining. The meal I had was more than enough and was exceptional. Although in a strip mall, Kaizen is trendy with vibrant murals, clean dining and restrooms. Absolutely recommend this spot for some great dining.

Best Sushi in Rowlett!! Glen is the greatest always friendly and super helpful!! I recommend this place highly.. The food is excellent and the price is affordable.

This place was awesome!! My sister and I took our mom here for her birthday tonight and it was all of our first times here and everything was fantastic. Our server was fucking awesome and the food was stellar! They had some interesting sushi on the menu and we loved everything we ordered. We will definitely be back!

New fav sushi place! Definitely, a hidden gem! The service was quick. The restaurant walls were painted with cool pictures on it. I didn't know Miso soup could have so much flavor! It was delicious. The evergreen roll was fresh. I do wish the sriracha was a little spicer. The roll had a hidden crunch to it. The in and out roll was good, too. Loved the spicy garlic edamame. Can't wait to go back and try more things on their menu.

I Love their food but miss their lunch hours! The poke roll is my favorite. Also my husband and I both love the Tribeca roll, it's so unique and delicious!

Just came back to share--I still love this place so much. My son and I get to go often and customer service is always great, sushi is fresh and everything is truly phenomenal.

Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised! I usual am critical of sushi places and there aren't a lot of great sushi places around our neighborhood. The customer service was great, service was fast, food was delicious! Miso Soup was nice and hot, spicy edamame was spicy yet mild in flavor which made it so devour-able! Lol the Volcano roll was the best thing we ordered and the portion was a good size. They have a little sushi bar with a TV behind it and it was very clean. I'm definitely trying them again and next time I'll try their drinks! Lol ok now bye bye then!

Food is good, but not great. Place is very small. There are no great sushi options in the Rowlett/Rockwall area, so this will do for now.

Kaizen is so delicious every time we go!! Highly recommend to anyone anytime I can!!!!
