The Thai food here was AMAZING! I spent time in Thailand and was missing the food-- Ka-Tip satisfies authentic Thai cravings. They keep their menu traditional and everything tastes super fresh. The Pad Thai is perfect and crisp chicken was so bomb. The seating area and bathrooms were incredibly clean. The staff is nice. The service is quick. We'll be coming back often!

Let's start by saying I loveeee Thai food and this place did not disappoint. At first I was sad because they didn't have traditional drunken noodles, however I tasted 2 different fried rices that were AMAZING (the crab and seafood). They also had great dumplings. The food came out pretty quickly. It is nice and cozy and they even have a few tables outside. This is definitely a hidden gem

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Dallas area so far. I think it tastes more authentic to me compared to the other places I've been to. I had lunch there today but I've been here before- maybe 5 times or so? The only downside is that they do charge automatic gratuity at the register where you order- they didn't use to but started a while back at some point.Pad Thai- I get this all the time lol. So good.Green curry- we ordered it without choosing a spice level. It's pretty spicy! Luckily we can handle it and it's tolerable. Just be careful if you can't handle spice very well- ask for less or something if possible. It's delicious though!Crab fried rice- had previously and also good.Mango sticky rice- had previously and it's delicious.Thai tea- very sweet but I still like it lol.I should probably try the other menu items. ^__^

I was really craving Thai since I don't have many Thai options in my town. I had high expectations due to the ratings but I was highly dissatisfied by the food and service. I ordered a Tom Kha and it was so watered down with barely any flavor, the chicken was rubbery ( overly cooked) with barely any vegetables in there. I couldn't finish the soup because was also too sour!Be aware that they already add a 15% service charge to your bill, and on top of that they ask you for tip! They have outdoor and indoor seating.

Great service, yummy food. We ordered the Tom yum soup, pad Thai, and fried rice for two. The soup was really yummy, and pad Thai was great, too. I would recommend this little spot in downtown Dallas

I wanted to like Ka-Tip because of everything we heard about its authenticity and how delicious it was, but I did not think it stood out from most of the other good/legit Thai places in the area. The larb gai was unbelievably spicy to the point where the spice dominated the dish. The spice was also the type that was just painful and did not compliment the other flavors of the dish. Furthermore, the prices are quite high and the portions small. I am still glad I went to try, but I sadly did not enjoy the food much.

Just tried to eat here and was auto charged a 15% service charge and when I already normally tip 20%. When asked to remove my tip the owner instead removed the service charge instead which was less than my tip. The owner then proceeded to justify and quite honestly argue with me regarding the issue while my food was at the table.I just wanted to eat peacefully and this is not the place.
