We went to Ka Thai. For our anniversary. When we walked in atmosphere is really really nice. We started with appetizer sample we choose chicken wing steamed dumpling and summer rolls. Very light starter pairing with cocktail makes it even more refreshing . Move on to main course we ordered Chicken Mansaman Curry and shrimp Pad Thai. Both dishes are very delicious. Service was very nice our waitress very knowledgeable about all dishes. Very attentive but not made us feel like to annoying . We would like some dessert at the end but unfortunately we are too full. We definitely will be back next time and can wait to try more dishes and dessert.

Short Hit: one of the better Thai restaurants in Dallas. Definitely worth trying.Flavor - 5Service - 4Value - 4Ambiance - 5Very happy to see Ka Thai have a North Dallas location (close to my work for me to get kunch). I've been going to Ka since their original location on McKinney Ave and their new location in Uptown, and the food here is just as good. There are many Thai places around, but thus one us fresh and has the correct flavor profile: nuanced layers of sweet and salty.Did family style and shared red curry, pad kee maw, and Thai basil fried rice, and each were exceptional. You can just tell they make their own curry paste and everything is fresh.Highly recommended for authentic Thai.

This place was amazing from hospitality to the food itself. My friends and I went to the restaurant during lunch and received the lunch menu which came with a side of choice (salad with peanut sauce or Tom yum soup). I loved every entree but pad kee maw had to be my favorite. I loved the inside of the restaurant since it was nicely decorated and you could hear the cooking without it being too overstimulating. Would come again!

Everything about this place is AMAZING. The Thai tea is on point, the Macha green tea lemonade was so refreshing. Highly recommend the steamed dumplings! The servers here are extremely attentive. I would be a regular here if I lived closer!

The restaurant is very nice and chic. Service is good. The food is Americanized Thai, which is good, just not my taste - Large portions. We ordered: Mi Krop Crispy - Crispy wontons tossed in sweet and sour Tamarind sauce, peanuts, and shrimp $10. It had ONE shrimp. And it had an awful smell of rotten eggs. One person from our party couldn't even out it in their mouth from the smell. Me and the other person shared, and it tasted fine, but we had such a hard time eating it from the smell! We weren't able to finish even half. Never experienced anything like it. Summer rolls: spring rolls. It tasted fine, but it didn't taste "frozen" even though it suggested it was "fresh" on the menu. But then, freshly defrosted and fried is still "fresh", right? Curry Fried Rice (unpictured) I am personally not a fan of the American Curry spice, but my friend who ordered it, loved it! Thai Basil (Signature): A safe dish you can order at any Thai place. This was good, and I know it says green beans on the menu, but whyyyyyy sooooo many!? It took away from the taste of everything else! (I'm the picture, you can't really see the amount of green beans, there were manyyyy more underneath)Black Pepper with chicken: This was the best thing I've tried.Lemonade (unpictured):Fresh squeezed and gooood! Even if you say no ice, they still fill the glass.Oh, for a "Thai" place to not have Chili Oil is... weird. At least the nice server offered to chop up chili and put it in oil.. but if you've tried any chili oil, you'll know why we declined the offer. I started out giving the review a 4-star, but as I'm writing my experience and reliving the dining experience from 5 days ago, I definitely lost 2 more stars. If you want GOOD American Thai, try out Siam Thai. For mouth-watering authentic Thai, look no further than Too Thai Street Food.

I am SO happy that we have an amazing new, authentic Thai restaurant in this area! If you love Asian Mint or Malai, you will love this place. We went on a Sunday night and ordered a few things off the appetizer menu and split an entree. Everything was so delicious, the flavors really popped and reminded us of our trip to Thailand many years ago. We tried the heaven beef, roti canai, and the stir fry with beef. We really enjoyed our meal and had leftovers for the next day (which just got better with time!). The servers were super friendly, but they were still trying to find the groove since they just opened so be patient. They also accommodated my food allergies and took it seriously, which I appreciated. We will be back very very soon!

Nice interior, more inviting than most strip center Asian food places. Friendly service. Lunch special was tasty. I'll return if I'm in the area, but it's not a place I would drive across town to eat here.
