JW Marriott Dallas Arts District

Less than two years old, the JW Marriott is the newest Bonvoy property in downtown Dallas. The hotel is contemporary in design and the definition of refined hospitality.Service and food options are exceptional and live up to the expectations of the brand.

Had a great experience here. It was alittle expensive when the valet and eating breakfast added up but overall I love it. They look out for me for my birthday with complimentary drinks and the front desk agents were easily available to assist. Overall I would definitely come back.

This hotel is beautiful. We stayed there for a quick trip for a concert at the American Airlines Arena. The hotel is situated in the art district and it's not too far from the arena. We stayed on the 14th floor, which gave beautiful views from the room. The room very clean. It had a huge walk-in shower and we also had robe and slippers provided by the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were soft. This hotel has a restaurant on the 11th floor, a rooftop pool, a rooftop bar, a coffee shop, and plenty sitting on the rooftop near the bar. The staff there were incredibly nice from the welcome at the valet to the checkout the next day. We came on it Thursday, so most restaurants were closed by midnight so we ordered sandwiches to our room late night. The sandwiches were delicious and the hotel personnel brought them up promptly. I would definitely stay here again.

I stay at lots of different Marriott hotels but I won't be back to this one. Valet parking was super slow and had a snarky attitude from the get go. The front desk wasn't much better. Southern Hospitality must not exist in Dallas anymore. At first they weren't going to give us a room with two beds as requested. After I explained to them that 4 people in one bed is over the maximum occupancy for the room. They reluctantly changed the room to what we had reserved. However as a platinum member with Marriott we don't usually get stuck on a low floor without a view. To top it off the hairdryer doesn't work at all and the hallways are filled with trash from everyone DoorDashing.

You expect the best at JW and they deliver. Beds and pillows are very soft. Bathroom is large. Shower is for group of people (a joke). Service from start to finish is impeccable.

My husband and I chose JW Marriott Art District for our 10th anniversary getaway, and it exceeded all our expectations from start to finish. She made sure every detail of our anniversary celebration was perfect, from arranging a special room upgrade to recommending the best dining options in the hotel.The hotel itself is a masterpiece of modern luxury and artistry. Our room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, with breathtaking views of the city skyline. The attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the artwork on display to the plush bedding and amenities, was awe-inspiring.We indulged in a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant, where the chef's culinary skills surpassed our expectations. The ambiance was romantic and intimate, perfect for celebrating such a special occasion.Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary unforgettable.The JW Marriott Art District is more than just a hotel--it's a destination in itself, offering luxury, comfort, and a true sense of hospitality. We cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to celebrate a milestone or simply indulge in a luxurious getaway. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

This was my first time staying in a JW Marriott. I travel frequently and have stayed at several Marriott hotels. For a luxury hotel, I expected more from the staff like an explanation of amenities and not having to wait 15 minutes for a drink order from the bar by the pool. Overall though, it is a beautiful hotel and I enjoyed the stay. I would compare it to a regular Marriott experience. It's not worth the price tag unless there are more benefits. I wish there were robes in the room or at least nicer bedding.

Very nice hotel. We love going on little staycations and figured we would stay here for Labor Day weekend. The hotel is pristine. It is on the quieter part of downtown Dallas but still very close to all the restaurants and activities. The staff was amazing. It is pricey but you gotta pay for these types of luxuries. The pool is not very big and for some reason the water was freezing cold. Pool service was very slow, they only had one bar tender and one server. The rooms are very neat, very clean, minimalist aesthetic, great shower and nice views. Only dislike were the pillows, they are very flat. This hotel is brand new, I believe it's been operating for less than two months, so there are a few things here and there that need improve but overall it was a very nice stay.

We live about 30 minutes outside of downtown Dallas, but we love doing staycations at this Marriott property. India greeted me at check in and was so nice! I told her it was my wife and I's anniversary and she upgraded us as well as had complimentary dessert sent up to our room where there was a hand written card! I did have to call and check with the front desk again to make sure it was going to get delivered and Olive was very helpful and had it sent to the room right before my wife srricGreat experience as always.

We recently stayed at this property to celebrate our anniversary. This is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Outstanding food and cocktails in the restaurant for lunch. Employees are all very friendly and helpful!The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.The one hiccup with our stay was the breakfast from room service. The waffle was cold and soggy and did not come with the berries as listed on the menu. Sausage was a bit tough. Despite ordering pancakes and waffles there was no syrup, so we had to call and request it. It felt like very little attention was given to the order for accuracy or presentation. For the price (delivery fee + service charge + gratuity) it would have been nice for someone to have put some effort into the details! In the future we would absolutely choose this hotel but we will absolutely not order room service again.
