Juicy Pig Barbecue

Had this BBQ three times now. Super good. One time I went the service was bad but I went Monday and it was good. No complaints. Husband did not like the sides but I did. We drive from Lewisville to come here and another BBQ restaurant. We have been trying to hit up every BBQ spot in Denton before moving to Oklahoma.

Grabbed lunch here with a couple of coworkers. They have no indoor seating and in Texas that limits a comfortable dining experience. The BBQ was good but not great. There is a lot of good BBQ in the area.The service was good.

I've been driving past this place for years and always say I was gonna try it. Well me and the Hubbs finally decided ti try it out. You can order inside or out. There is I think one table and a bar style table with tall chairs that faces out the back window. It smells amazing, the bbq smell slaps you across the face when you open the door. We both ordered the Turkey Palooza Sandwich and two drinks. Be prepared it is expensive.. but good golly it's soooo goood! The meat just falls apart and melts in your mouth. There are I believe 3 different sauces you can choose from and we tried them all.. all were good. Just be prepared that the prices are high.. but you get hogh quality meat with really good flavor! We will be back again soon.

A solid choice for Texas barbecue, inside the downtown Denton area, on Locust St., a city block past the intersection of N. Locust St. and Congress streets. It's a great place to drop in and partake of the best local smoke and the pinnacle of food, if you want some nice smoke from aromatic wood taste from his massive smoker, and a beer.Enjoy Denton, Inside the Loop 288, and obey the local police and designate a driver, who is not drinking alcoholic beverages.I love life in the Denton community and want to share it with other people who share the interests and ideals of our best businesses in town.Cheers,Mark F.

Nonsense, straightforward BBQ. With the right smith of smokiness to it and their JP sauce to accompany.The team is super nice, with a big easy smile are ready to help newbies like me decide. Grab your food and head to the picnic tables outside and enjoy the day.. giving you an easy countryside feeling of dusty roads.

Juicy Pig is the best BBQ in Denton... hands down!I do not know of a better spot for BBQ in Denton. This small counter service bbq joint is a great place, north of the square in Denton on Locust St. Don't drive by it!Juicy, smokey, flavorful brisket that melts in your mouth. Habanero sausage that isn't too hot but packed with flavor. Sides like your mama made, all of them are good.Get here on Fridays and Saturdays for a huge beef rib!The seating is a bit limited, especially if you want to sit inside, but the outside is nice. There is a huge mural on the wall to check out and may lead to some interesting conversations. I see a lot of orders to go as well.The Juicy Pig serves up some delicious BBQ and is my place to go when I want to cure that craving.

I was getting my guitar re-strung at Sky Guitars and it was going to be a bit as they were backlogged. The two guys working suggested two spots to grab a bite and here's where I came.I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and I have to say, it was pretty much one of the best I've had.Highly recommend!

I went there it was two young guys playing and laughing before they took my order. Next the place didn't look appealing the meat was tough and funny tasting as if I had a bad batch of meat. The food was not good and they give small portions, which was fine by me because the food wasn't really good. No I do not recommend this place. I would try Hutchins BBQ they are the best!

This store used to be good good brisket sandwich I went there recently. The buns were horrible. Tasted like 1 bread. The brisket was cold not appetizing at all in the price was outrageous. Almost $13 for one sandwich not visiting again anytime soon.

Pretty decent barbecue place in Denton with quick and efficient service. The best at the restaurant was definitely the St. Louis Style ribs, the habanero sausage, and their barbecue sauce. The sides were very disappointing though other than the beans, and I definitely would skip on the slaw and gumbo.
