Delicious ramen! The chicken ramen & the tonkatsu black ramen were so decadent, rich, yet light (not heavy!) you have the choice of adding additional toppings~ lots to choose from!We also tried the house salad and seafood salad which were so fresh! Dara was a great server and was on point on the service!Great spot for a warm bowl of ramen on a cold day~

My sister and I decided to have ramen on this frigid day in Dallas and picked Jinya because of the vegan options for me. We wanted to sit at the counter and the hostess looked at us weirdly then she said, oh you mean the ramen bar. Okay. The ramen chefs were all Mexican which is wierd because we grew up in Japan and good ramen is an artform. We scanned the menu and I decided on the Flying Vegan Harvest and my sister had the Black Tonkotsu. Mine was excellent with thicker noodles. However, it was like an entire block of tofu was used. My sister enjoyed her ramen which had thinner noodles, a whole egg which should be cut in half really, and lots of toppings. We both agreed that the portions are so large that they should reduce the portions and reduce the price. We don't need to eat that much. But, both were delish and fulfilling on this cold day.

Service was stellar! The drinks are delicious and the noodles in the ramen had an incredible texture! If you love mood lighting and loud music, this is the place for you! Many of the dishes came out cooler than room temperature (the dishes that were supposed to hot). Some of the raw fish did not have much flavor including the spicy tuna. The restaurant does have happy hour, so I might return to check that out and have a warm bowl of ramen!

Solid ramen spot! Nice airy interior in a cute Plaza. The thick noodles were so good. We tried the tonkotsu black, the tonkotsu red, and the tonkotsu original. All were hearty and delicious. I'm so partial to thicker noodles so those were my favorites. Very kind staff! Free parking garage across the street

Jinya is one of my favorite ramen spots. Even if it is a chain, I find that no matter where I go, it's so spot on and consistent that I enjoy it every time. I was pleasantly delighted to find out that they were able to make any alcoholic drink into a mocktail, which I greatly appreciated. It was delicious as well. It was a lychee based drink, and with the ginger beer (I think), it was a delicious, refreshing drink. We sat outside and our food came so fast! Our servers were on top it and they always came to clear our plates or check on anything we needed. If I lived closer, I would definitely come back as often as I could.

I always love exploring Dallas and the suburbs for ramen places, and JINYA is one we haven't tried yet. First off, the ambience of the actual location is beautiful. Interior is really neat and I absolutely love the patio seating with the fire pit. Probably one of the largest patio seating I've seen at a ramen place ever so they can accommodate a lot of guests. I will say, the actual lay out of the entrance may be weird when waiting for a host. There was about 3 different parties clumped together and honestly no waiting area. They can't really help that though since it's already built. We were seated quickly once we talked to a host. Service is incredibly attentive and friendly, which I also feel like you don't receive at ramen places a lot. The menu is vast - lots of drink options, appetizers, sushi, rice bowls, or ramen to choose from. You can also customize your ramen and add lots of additional toppings. I also think you can request additional noodles when you're done with yours for free (but don't quote me on this!). I went with the typical Tonkatsu Spicy, as that's my go to order at all places and order spice level Spicy, which is the second ( others being Mild and Hot ). Food came out after about 15 minutes and was hot. The actual broth itself is very thick and coats the noodle well which is unique. It wasn't spicy at all, but they have more hot sauce you can add at the table. The broth is different than most places I've had, as it already had a red color to it before mixing the hot sauce. It's good but towards the end got too salty for me. The noodles are thick and al dente, unique but also different than other places. The chashu is super tender and flavorful but only is 4 bites in total. I will say overall, portion size is very small for what you are paying for, and there is no egg included. The least they could do is include have an egg if I'm paying almost $20 a bowl. Lastly, there's a 10% check in offer on yelp but unfortunately they wouldn't honor it. No big deal, just take it off the website!

This place is only getting 3 because of the food and its flavor ! The chicken ramen was delicious a different alternative that isn't normally offered & the Tonkotsu ramen with mild spicy wasn't bad either. Portion is definitely decent and it's filling ( be warned tonkotsu ramen doesn't come with an egg, it's an extra) over all it's good food not the best but decent. The ambiance is cool, spacious seating and decent toons. The 3 stars is really due to service, the staff pays 0 attention to you. When we walked in we were greeted then told " I've gotta go, but just wait here " a few moments past before a completely different person sat us down and then our serve completely forgot 1. The extra egg we ordered and 2. The takoyaki balls entirely. For the food being ok the service would've made this place..

Love this place, I've been here 3 - 4 times and never disappointed. I get the same thing - Vegan Fire Opal. I'm not vegan but this soup is spicy, salty, citrusy, and they use sautéed bamboo like I've never seen before and I love it! We've had the bun, crispy chicken, seaweed salads, curry croquettes as appetizers (on separate occasions lol) and they're all great! Drink also great! They have a matcha lychee lemonade . Service is good, ambiance great! Not too loud inside, nice outdoor patio.
