Super romantic vibes, cozy atmosphere. They only take reservations, but it's so that the quality of service isn't lost trying to keep up with too many patrons which is really nice, you can want to order a drink and then boom they are making it instead of having to wait who knows how long for another drink. They are delicious and specialty/crafts drink and not as pricey as one would think for Dallas! We love this joint!

Jettison is an intimate cocktail bar in the middle of a busy shopping plaza. We made same day reservations and rang the doorbell for entrance. The space was dark and intimate and perfect for a spontaneous date night. I've been here several times, and each time the drinks have been phenomenal. The flavors of the cocktails are carefully crafted and complex and I enjoy trying out the seasonal drinks. There are also drinks available year round and my favorite are the Matcha Mucho and the pink drink. Unfortunately, the phenomenal drinks and the ambience is ruined by the service. Each time I have come, service has been incredibly slow. The last time I came here on a date night, we were seated in a corner away from the bar. It would have been totally fine. However, our waters were hardly ever refilled and it took over an hour to order a second drink even though the bar was hardly busy. We were sitting in a corner and the servers never checked on us. Rather, I had to walk up to them to ask if we could order a drink. I will come back for the cocktails...but they certainly have room to improve with regards to their service.

Came here on a Saturday night with a friend. It was an overall okay experience. The bar itself is very small, and reservations are required due to the limited seating. I must say it looks a lot bigger online than in person. The crowd seemed to be either a group of friends or couples who were a bit older, late 30's and upwards.I think this place is great if you wanted a nightcap or something very very chill. It could also work for a simple date night, but anything besides that I'm afraid it would be a buss.

Jettison is an unassuming cocktail bar in a busy commercial area, that is easy to overlook. We rang the doorbell for entrance and were transported into the dark, intimate space. Can't believe I've missed this place so many times when I'm the area!We were sitting at the bar so service was fast, though not very friendly, with plenty of showmanship to entertain. These are true mixologist and can make anything but we decided to work through the cocktail menu. My fav drink of the night was my Match Mucho, never had anything like it, but it grew on me with each sip. These are not guzzling drinks, definitely sip and savor. I didn't like all of the drinks (couldn't get halfway through the Red Headed Oaxacan), but I like the variety and that my palate was challenged. Flavors of all the cocktails were complex with many layers. And the vibe of this place was adult, and low-key. Serious cocktail connoisseurs need to check this place out! (Note: Their focus is cocktails, limited snack menu in the form of cheese and meat charcuterie board options)

To find this bar, enter Houndstooth Coffee and go through the door behind the barista counter. It's a "speakeasy" but is pretty plainly labeled outside. They've wisely closed direct access from the outside door (or at least it wasn't an option the night we stopped in), which makes it feel a little more "speakeasy"-ish.They claim you need reservations, but our group of SIX (which filled about a third of the place -- it's tiny) was able to walk right in and be seated around 7ish on Saturday evening. Perhaps reservations are more necessary later in the evening? I also hope the bar is staffed by more than one bartender later in the evening, because there was only one while we were there, and he struggled to get all our drinks out in a timely manner (somewhat understandably, because the drinks are pretty complicated, but still). We all passed around each cocktail and had pretty strong consensus of opinions among the six of us, which were as follows:Concrete Jungle: Our hands-down favorite, with an awesomely unique combination of black sesame, Benedictine, and orgeat elevating the components of a whiskey sour (Balcones rye, lemon, and egg white). One of These Nights: My second favorite. A slightly citrusy drink that's on what I call the "manly" side of the cocktail world. Amaro Lucano, cognac, dry curacao, lemon, orgeat, coffee, and star anise...lots of deep, rich, strong flavors that work surprisingly well together.Éscorpion: This drink may look silly/girly/touristy, but don't pass it by too quickly. It's very refreshing and not too sweet. Tequila, mezcal, apricot, lemon, orange, orgeat...and FIRE. Get your cameras ready when this one lands on the table.Matcha Mucho: Another extremely refreshing option in terms of flavor, but it's a heavier drink (texture is thicker) than the Éscorpion. In other words, it's refreshing but not light. Mezcal, matcha, coconut, lime, and Gran Classico. The Mo Mo: I never order martinis, but this combination of tequila, sake, green chartreuse, and peach was absolutely delightful. It's definitely on the sweet side.Tom Kha Gai Guys: Our least favorite. Too much going on here. Gin, mezcal, St. Germain, coconut, lime, chili oil, cilantro...I mean, all of these things are really nice on their own or in smaller combinations, but all of them together should never happen again. All of the drinks are about $14, which seems fair given their complexity and unique flavor profiles. The vibe is very retro and fun. My only complaint is that they serve basically no food. A little more of a bar snacks selection would be appreciated. It definitely seems like the sort of place that should at least serve some mixed nuts for free with your drink (you know, old school), but I'd also like to see a few more substantial options too. Regardless, I'd definitely go back.

Nice place. Small, but not crowded or noisy; we could actually enjoy conversation without screaming at one another. We got immediate service and our waiter was very nice and had a sense of humor. Took time to explain components of a drink to a friend, promised she'd enjoy it and he definitely delivered. Would absolutely go back, it's a really chill spot; classy and not pretentious.

I went here for the first time with friends and fell in love. You must have a reservation because it's pretty small but very intimate. The drinks are SO GOOD. It's one of those places where if the date is going well that you'd want to pop in here for a night cap because it's very lowkey but has the vibe for sure!

Sit at the bar and watch the magic of the creations. Culinary science comes to life with the delicious, decadent perfect pairings in any of the cocktails on the menu. It's also so fun to watch them hand carve the ice cubes. My favorite speakeasy in Dallas!
