Jerry's Supermarkets

I CHOSE to come back because FIESTA MART and EL MONTERREY are stores who feature poor customer service and even tell customers their business aren't wanted (which I am not making up either,) and ATTACK said paying customers as well. This place isn't that better with said customer service either, having rude, unruly employees refusing to contact management when you need it, paranoid staff always keeping an eye on you even when you purchase your items and leave the store, and that kitchen of theirs which always looks in poor condition, and has an OPEN WINDOW TO THE OUTSIDE despite the fact we are living UNDER THAT COVID-19 PANDEMIC at this point. However today I saw something jarring, one of their vendors inside selling TRUMP 2020 MAGA caps, plain in view of customers who enter and leave the store. How can they allow these items to be sold here, in a neighborhood populated mostly by Mexican-Americans and Hispanic folk?! I presented my concerns to management and that person actually told me that "Trump is a good guy to Hispanics and loves them." Like I said, at the moment this is my sole choice for groceries, but when things get better, and I pray they do, I am thinking of not coming back here as much as I once did. Not while these people put politics over the care of customers who CHOOSE to spend their money here. I hope they come to their senses about this, because the last thing I wish to see is a riot started within this store while I try to purchase groceries.

BEST Fajita Tacos ever!!!! I've eaten all over the country and Jerry's has the BEST fajita tacos!!! Great service too!!!

A lot of choices just walking in the door. Today when I walked in they was selling food. I bought a couple of breakfast tacos with eggs and sausage. Good. They have plenty of fruits and vegetables to fresh meats. I bought a package of eckrich sausage for this cabbage recipe- hopefullly it turns out right. I've been here before and know that it can get busy.

A reader below wrote that Jerry's wasn't Central Market nor should it want to be. Jerry is a fine example of what an independent grocery store should be. With labels that are not carried due to corporate bulling. Jerry's has 6 different type of flour all of which are made by local Texas plants. I'm a baker so I know my flour. With it's handmade signs (true lost art form) and wonderful home cooked food. It's a wonderful asset to the Oak Cliff landscape. But it does need to work on customer service. Shop local.

Meat selection and prices are awesome!! but price on other grocery items are wayyyyy overpriced!!
