JC's Burger House

Came in and ordered a nooner burger. She puts in a junior burger. Gave me a wrong burger due to a major language barrier. Junior and nooner sounds like the same thing.Then instead of making me the correct burger. They made the egg and bacon and served me my same cold burger and fries with hot egg and bacon.Never going here again. She even had a attitude. We are not in Juarez, this is USA!

Looks like they've slipped a notch. This is an easy fix for somebody. My burger was cooked and put together with zero love.Now,if you're a cook it's just not that hard to turn out a decent hamburger. Even though cooked on a flat top there was no edge caramelization. So, either the grill isn't hot enough or the cook is messing with the patty too much.The irony of all this is,last week I had a world class burger at the original JC location, that had closed and was revived by Edmond as Edmunds burgers. Same flat top JC installed years ago and Edmond knows how to use it.As George Harrison said best, " All Things Must Pass".I think JCs run is over.

The double medium burger was cooked perfectly and boy is it a big burger! The chicken bacon salad was enough for a family also. I had honey mustard dressing which was perfectly made.. The restaurant was clean with nobody else besides us; probably since it was at 8:00 p m They were getting ready to close at 8:30. The two staffers were kind and patient while we looked over the menu. I would say we will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area.

Stopped in for weekly date night with my husband. We stood at the counter for awhile. There was a female employee at the counter but not in front of so we didn't know she was ready to take our order. The employee cooking spoke up and said, hello, has your order been taking, we responded no. Then the young lady came back to reality from daydreaming and took our order.Our food arrived quickly. We had room for dessert to take home. I sampled two flavors and decided on the strawberry banana. I would return with hopes the young lady cashier is more attentive to customers standing at the counter.

Stopped in for lunch, had the Works Burger. Burger was dry, bacon was burnt to a black crisp. Overall just a pretty bad burger, would not eat here again. 2 stars because the staff was nice and the tots were decent.

Dry burger, chicken on the chicken sandwich was too salted and the bacon super hard and almost black. Dry overcooked fries.The service was very nice and attentive. Just the food was not good quality.

Came into JC's because I wanted a good old fashioned hamburger and that's exactly what I got. You can get a bunch of different options for specialty burgers or just a plain burger. I also got sweet potatoes fries and a strawberry shake made with bluebell, couldn't pass that up, both were delicious. The service was kind and friendly. It felt very homey and I was served quick and with a smile.

Stopped in at JC's today and had the lunch special. I got a 1/4 lb burger, hand cut fries and a drink for $10.49. Everything was made fresh and was quite tasty. Did I mention hand cut fries? Fast, friendly service and excellent food describe JC's. Check 'em out!

At the McKinney location: Lady at the register was extremely nice. The workers in the back could've played 3 games of monopoly by the time they started on our order.
