Well, let's start with some honesty, shall we?I did not read any reviews before coming, which is not my style. AT ALL. Truthfully speaking, though, art IS subjective. The great thing about Van Gough, is that he has pieces that have been seen, so if any of those don't resonate with you, don't go. Many comments focus on price. And it is not the cheapest activity in town, yet the same can be said if spending $ on a dinner for an "experience". Make sure you know it is an "experience" and not a movie. Read the signs when you go in, read the walls to understand a bit more of the history before taking in the experience and read the "whys" as to understand what pieces were used to create this concept. If you are going to spend the money, invest some time to the research. (I posted a tip with a link to help)It is moving if you absorb it in the mindset of what the artist may be experiencing at that time. If you don't know much about this artist, please DO go! Especially if you want to learn about art. Snippets of his history are on the walls by the snack table. As with an art gallery, prepare to stand, but there are few seats available. We had a date night package gifted to us, so we had a couch to sit on, but truly took another 30 minutes to stand and absorb views and perspectives from different angles. Take YOUR time. All three rooms do show the same reel with different views:Room 1 mildly immersive (if you have epilepsy, easily nauseated, etc. start here)Room 2 completely immersive art will be on the floor and cover your clothes.Room 3 abstract (reflective) immersive with mirrorsEven though they forgot our drinks with our package (was an epic fail at the time, Ha!) I would recommend this to anyone, given that they are understanding about what this is and how to prepare to visit.Happy New Year, Yelpers.

What an amazing 1st time event for Tiki Hubby and me at the Monet and Van Gogh Immersive event for Yelpers. There was an easy on line ticketing process. Great parking on site, able to complete triathlon- snacks, cocktails, and shopping all in one location with a viewing of Monet like no other we have experienced. Every staff member was so friendly and just nice. I have seen Monet at museums in Dallas, New York and Paris, this was the best. Sitting comfortably while Monet and Van Gogh came to life all around us. 3 large AC rooms with a loop showing. All ages will have a new appreciation for the impressionist.

I was hoping to enjoy this experience a whole lot more than I actually did. Unfortunately, it was an overpriced projections filled exhibit with about 30 minutes of overall Van Gogh inspired animations. I think it would be a great way to introduce children to the art of Van Gogh but as an adult I was wanting a bit more history and more of a museum like experience. If you go make sure to buy the right tickets and don't purchase the VIP tickets since all you really get is a lanyard.

I thought it was AMAZING. I am seeing the negative reviews and it makes me wonder what people were expecting. I thought the promotional material I had seen beforehand, accurately described the experience. It is a half hour display set to music. They aren't showing you one painting at a time, instead have combined them in themes that brilliantly move to the music. But everything you want to see, is there. Sunflowers, Lilies, the Night Cafe, Starry Nights, the Olive Trees, The Church at Auveres, not to mention a collection of self portraits. Plus so much more. It really was so much more than I expected. Yes it is a bit pricy, but I walked away in awe. But the most wonderful thing about art is, it is all subjective and no opinion is wrong. If it does not speak to you, you're free to think it is dumb.

Although beautiful and different I must say that everything about this event is over priced. We walked in, we're greeted and given a chip to trade in for a cushion once we made it through the door. However before you get there, there are drinks and snacks offered. $11 for a plastic cup is excessive to me, but then again maybe I'm just thrifty. We get our drink, take some pictures and then proceed to the door where we were told that the video just ended and the next one would start soon so we should find out seat. The whole time the video was playing a group of ladies behind us talked however they were screaming so they could hear each other over the music. Not once did anyone ask them to please hold their conversation down. The video comes to an end and we walk into another room that's larger and grab a seat and to my surprise, it's the SAME video!!! Like seriously? However now it's a larger room so depending on where you are sitting you get a different view cause after all this is ART. Got into the 3rd room and you guessed it, same video. Just this time there are mirrors which the images reflect off of giving you a different artistic view. So, we leave and return our cushions and they give us a "gift" (a poster) and then there is the gift shop. I love a magnet of places I've been and shows I've been to, however $13 for a magnet that's not as big as my thumb? YIKES!!Maybe I wasn't totally prepared, but this all seems extremely steep all in the name of ART.

Kind of a mixed review from me. First, while I recognized some of Van Gogh's work, there were a lot I didn't, so the fact there was movement, didn't really resonate with me as much as it might others. That doesn't play into my ranking, because it's on me, not them to be familiar with the basis for the exhibition. They do send an email with info of a companion app to download before going in. While I did download it, I never really had a chance to read all about it beforehand. Again, that's on me.Also, from seeing other ads for it, I guess I was under the impression that you moved from room to room, and each room focused on a different painting or a few paintings. In reality, there 's three rooms, all showing the exact same 30-min film. I guess it was cool, after we finally got up and moved 5-6 times and ended up in a good spot. It's interesting to see, there are some cool effects, and most of the music is nicely paired. There are some chairs in the middle room, and if you wait long enough, they'll open up. However, be prepared to sit against a wall or stand until they do.But then again, to pay $60-70/person to drive 45 mins each way for a 30-min film, I dunno. Mixed reviews. I'd be interested to know if true Van Gogh/art lovers though it was amazing or cheesy. Finally, know that while they require masks going in, nobody enforces anything once you're in the exhibit, and two of the three rooms aren't huge, so lots of non-masking going on and the increase in the chance you're being immersed in more than just Van Gogh.

Luckily we got our tickets on sale for Black Friday. The exhibit and music were mesmerizing but we were not offered cushions that we saw others using, the screaming kids were beyond annoying and the gift shop prices were some of the highest I've seen.

Pricey for just three rooms but you get to stay there for as long as you want. I would love to have a wedding venue like this because it's magical. This was definitely an experience. From beginning to end, there was great customer service. Employees were helpful and friendly so you get what you pay for. This was like a glow in the dark light show of all his art. There's a gift shop and something to do in Dallas Wear a mask and show up on time

I saw it in August 2021! Staid there over 2 hours to watch it 3-4 times! It brought tears to my eyes at more than one occasion and reignited my passion for painting! Now I am a full-time professional artist... because of this show! I saw other shows at the same venue but the Van Gogh immersive was the best! I saw it again in 2022 just for grins ;)You have to let it "soak in" into your core and soul to truly appreciate! I could not understand people leaving after 15 min (the show is 35min, on a loop)! Loved it! I wish they would bring the Gustav Klimt one but Dallas is not very receptive apparently! So sad.
