This was such a unique experience for me and my husband. I have never done an immerse art exhibition before. We both love Frida's art so we couldn't wait to check it out. Parking was not the best since you had to walk a bit and that night was freezing lol. I wish they had valet parking but no biggie. We go in and got our VIP badges (which looking back there was no need to pay more for VIP) but we did get 2 free cushions and two free promotions posters (also I would have rather be a poster with one of her paintings). We found a spot and sat down and saw the whole show at least twice. Its like a 40 mins projection show. A little music, some of her history and some of her art. You could see the same show anywhere on the different galleries/rooms. They had a snack/booze bar to enjoy while watching the show. We got some beer/champagne and some delicious fancy organic over priced jerky. I was really impressed with the direction and scenery of the projectors especially since they were perfectly in sync. All in all I had an amazing time with my husband so even though it was on the pricey side I still thought it was worth it!!

I have to say that I am pretty disappointed in this immersive art experience. It is nothing like the Van Gogh exhibit where you learn about the artist, popular pieces and move throughout the exhibit. For the Frida Kahlo exhibit, you walk into the building and there is a cute sign with flowers and her name (great for selfies). Then you walk up the stairs and there is a large Van Gogh portrait (odd), and a curator/employee informs you that there are 3 rooms to walk through. She did not specify that each room plays the exact same images. There was no information about Frida, so newbies wouldn't get the opportunity to learn about her and her work. Instead the images projected were photos of her life, some of her artwork, and Diego Rivers's photos and art. I really wish they would have put more into this exhibit. She was such a fascinating artist.

I have done this type of experience before during normal hours in New York and found it so much better to experience after a yoga session. The yoga class was early (for me) in the morning and displayed the entire artistic experience while taking a yoga instructed class. Once the class is done you get to see the show again (with no "outsiders." They let the yoga class watch the experience again and really enjoy it without tons of people everywhere. If you want to get a more personal experience, try the yoga combo!

We enjoyed the experience. There are 3 rooms with projections of her work on the walls. The presentation is about 40 min long. There are chairs or you can walk in between the rooms. The third room has some mirrors and it's interesting to walk in between them with the reflections all around.

I am an artist and a Frida Kahlo fan. I am so disappointed in this immersive exhibit. There were 3 rooms showing the same 40 minute video and That Is It! The VIP poster is trash. Watch the movie with Selma Hayak. Way more entertaining

Save. Your. Money. Random snippets of some of Frida's paintings in random order + a few family photos without labels + an unrelated soundtrack = colossal time and money suck. Hugely disappointing.

We had previously gone to the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit in Arlington and loved it. When I saw the ads for Immersive Frida I was thrilled because I've loved her forever. I bought VIP tickets as soon as they went on sale and was excited about going. It was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. They tell you there are 3 galleries but what they don't say is the same presentation is playing in all 3. The content and music was less about Frida and her life than it was a bunch of filler with little bits of Frida mixed in between. I know her story and it was hard for me to follow. I can't imagine not knowing about her and trying to make sense out of it. When we were leaving we stopped at the retail section because I would still have purchased a shirt or something because of how much I love Frida. No such luck. It was about 97% leftover clearance Van Gogh merchandise with a few Frida prints. What a colossal letdown. If you are thinking about going take my advice. Don't do the VIP thing because it's a waste of money and only buy tickets if they are on sale. Like really on sale. If there was a way to ask for a refund I would because I paid almost $100.00 per ticket for each of us. This experience is worth $20.00 tickets AT BEST and that's being generous.

Save your money. Three rooms of the same images on a loop. Certainly didn't live up to the hype, and definitely not worth the cost.
