House of Shine

Had a delightful and effective conversation with some of my coworkers hosted by House of Shine. The instructor was well prepared and inspiring. I appreciate her adaptability and going with the flow and mood. She was very in tuned with all of us and got everyone participating. This session helped shape our discussion that then continued to the office. Laying a good foundation yields positive outcomes. A huge thanks and would highly recommend for anyone looking to connect inside your team on a different and engaging level.

I heard about House of Shine through their founder, Dr. Claudia Beeny at a recent conference. I was intrigued about their mission to bring positivity and opportunities for self-discovery to the local community. We booked a tour for House of Shine online and Laura showed us around the place. There are plenty of places to park. House of shine is bigger than it looks on the outside. The staff at House of Shine are friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the place. They have multiple stations for interactions, a shine shop to purchase items, shine tokens which are made by volunteers, a shine wall, an opportunity to be part of the shine capsule, a backyard, a creative space for classes they offer to the community, a space for kids to be for field trips and a newsletter/calendar that shares upcoming events etc. They have a mascot who is a lightbulb named Ray and he is integrated into the various seasons and activities they have. They have a lot to offer the community and I look forward to returning.

This was such a fun experience! It was a little advanced for our 5 year old daughter, but I plan on coming back with some coworkers. It's like a museum where the exhibit is YOU! It's all based on learning more about what makes you amazing. It has bright colors, beautiful photo ops, and a GREAT gift shop! You won't be disappointed, but be prepared to learn some stuff about yourself.

What a great experience! This little house is such a gem! So many hidden treasures And things to read to learn about yourself. Love the little store that offered really great books and other tools for helping one to shine. Love the whole concept, and the overall place. Highly recommend.

I've been here twice so far, both times were great experiences. We paid $10 for a clay making event where we made clay coin bowls. Today we went back to paint them. While we were there they had a face painter Christmas paper making station and a Christmas ornament making station, all three things were free and painting the bowls we made was included in the $10 fee we paid to make the bowls.The staff is friendly and helpful, the building it's cute and creatively decorated. We hope they do more things like the clay classes, that was a lot of fun. We look forward to future events.

This place is a hidden gem of fun! It's guided for the most part to help you understand the purpose and how to complete activities. The energy and vibe is super positive and fun. The space is playful with thought provoking activities to encourage discovering yourself. We plan on coming back for some of the events they host. They say the space is great for anyone between the age of 5-95 and they aren't lying. Ohhh and it's free!!

Wonderful place to help learn more about yourself, your interests and purpose. They also provide a variety of ways for community connection. I encourage you to visit the business in Grapevine to find your SHINE or attend one of their events.

It was so fun visiting house of shine. Such a beautiful space and we had a great time and we're giving a tour of the place. I think this is a wonderful place to take children to explore and to learn. I also think as an educator, this would be a great place for homeschooling parents to take their children.
